Another morning with no sleep. Necrofarious was beginning to consider that this medicine was slowly getting worse for his health. His body sagged somewhat against the Shadow Fox's controls even as it stalked along the terrain, weaving up a hill through various trees. It was generally a hard stunt to pull off with zoids, but the fox was more of a flexible zoid- for a medium-sized one, at least.
A soft groan floated free from the man as he watched the horizon suddenly gain a bright outline. The sun was coming, rising in the east slowly and giving the morning mist time to run away. Neco would like to do the same. The fox paused, as if sharing the sentiment. Maybe it'd be a good idea to find something to lighten the man's mood? A battle? Neco huffed slightly. Only the zoid would be pleased by a battle.Republic Force - Fox Type Reconnaissance/Guerilla Warfare Height: 8 meters Length: 17.3 meters Weight: 52 tons Top Speed: 290 km/h: Statistics HP: 240 EP: 15 AM: 55 DF: 10 Weapons: 30mm Laser Vulcan Gun -AT: 80 - EP: 2 AZ70mm Electromagnetic Net Gun [Paralyzes opposing Zoid for one turn. The rising sun glinted on the black body of the Glaive Quama as Uosu let the beast rise into the sky. The dark magenta acsents seeming to glint on the golden rays of dawn. It was a lovely morning. And Uosu felt on top of the world. By sheer luck, she had won her first battle the other day, and hoped to maybe do the same today. She had no definate thought she would beat anyone, no, she was still jsuta newbie in zoid battle standerds. she was about to continue on flying when she spotted a fox like ziod below, and a blip on her radar. "Whats this?" She mumbled to her self. She raised an eyebrow and peered down at the Shadow Fox. Maybe they were looking for a battle? she could only oblige! "Why hello there Shadow Fox and Pilot, Lovely Dawn, isn't it?"Glaive Quama Statistics Height: 7.9 meters Length: 11.5 meters Weight: 22 tons Top Speed: 200 km/h (ground) Mach 2.5 (air)

The com link was abuzz all of a sudden, passing the feminine voice along to the demure and drowsy male. The deep crimson eyes slid themselves shut as some hidden muscle pulsed angrily behind them, one hand raising to lightly kneed at his temples and press into his eyes. The fox seemed to rock beneath him, the controls humming supportively.
"Yes," He managed. "It's... beautiful." But it was hurting him and his now-sensitive retinas. After a moment of consideration, he took his hands away and looked for the zoid. Oh, above? "Could we trouble you... for an 0092, miss?" That should wake him up.

"I thought you'd never ask! By the way, I am Uosu Kei, pilot of the Glaive Quama! Your name? Oh yes, who shall start off this battle?" The bubbly female asked as she smiled and Glaive gave a soft reptilian roar of aproval. So far the only zoid that had battled was a Gun Tiger, and Uosu was much aware that Gun Tigers and Shadow Fox's were different, but now, she'd be able to see, first hand. Regardless of what the outcome might be, Uosu was excited to meet another zoid pilot, and see what this zoid could do, and see how Glaive compared.

Never ask. Well, he hadn't really planned to at first. Of course that much would be left unsaid. Apparently she still wanted to talk, though, introducing herself. Uosu- that was an odd name. He could top it. "Necrofarious." He almost whispered, forcing himself to sit back up in a straighter position. "I'll begin."
Furrows of earth were tossed up with the eager start-off of the Shadow Fox, darting and weaving through the trees. The cockpit stayed steady for the most part, however, bobbing only every now and then with a feel Neco was slowly getting used to. His hand took hold of the lever that controlled the Vulcan cannon, which snapped to life between the fox's shoulders. The cannon was a pretty advanced piece of work, supposedly able to shoot at an almost 90-degree angle. That was about to be tested. Never before had they fought a flying zoid, but he knew at least that this and the net were the only long-range weapons he had.
Finding the Glaive on the radar and with his own eyes, Necrofarious aimed and put pressure firmly upon the trigger. The laser shot through the trees and up towards the reptile. It should be a hit. Now to move to the open clearing ahead...

This guy wasn;t very chatty... Necrofarious? What an odd name! But Uosu had little time to contemplate it's meanig before it was hit. Uosu yelped as the Glaive tookt he it, and shook her head, tucking some loose strands of candy pink hair behind a pale ear before she grined and her bubblyness turned to seriousness. The Glaive was quick to recover from the blast and aimed its twin cannons. "C'mon glaive, don't let me down now!"

No, he wasn't very chatty. Not in the least. The cannon blasts crashed through the limbs of the trees and severed them cleanly, but barely managed to clip the fox's side. Still, the zoid was light and was sent rocking to the side, the leg anchors flicking down to stabilize it. 'I don't want to lose,' Necrofarious thought to himself as he swiveled the vulcan cannon for another attack. 'I don't want to disgrace you again.'
The way the glaive had so quickly recovered made the man nervous, but his hands guided the controls accurately if he gripped them as hard as he could. The bandages helped with that. Deadly light pelted free of the cannon, streaking through the sky again towards its target and almost lost among the brilliant rays of the sun. Perhaps he had miscalculated.

A beeping brogut Uosu's attention to a control panel. 'Damnit... two more-' She was cut short as she spotted a beam coming towards her. She growled and turned the controls hard, the beam hit, saved her one more shot. she cursed silently and flipped a few switched, she scanned the tree's and spotted the fox, she locked on and sent another shot from her twin laser cannons. She hoped this one would keep her in the game. If not, she was done for. Even one more grazing hit would freeze her controls.

Return fire! It was all the pilot could do to try and move the fox aside without smashing into one of the numerous surrounding trees. A sudden jostle alerted him to the conclusion that the fox had been hit despite his attempts. They needed to get to the open space, and quickly if they hoped to get any sort of a good shot in. While the stealthy zoid was probably better off hidden beneath the trees, it wouldn't be at all fair to shoot from behind a shield. He'd take the battle to the field, and give her an opportunity to strike... or at least a clear place to fall.
The Shadow Fox moved swiftly through the trees to the rising dawn, obviously out of its element in the bright light. It broke free of the trees, taking more than a few of the lower limbs with it as it burst into the open. A black blob against the horizon- Necrofarious squeezed his eyes shut and wheeled the fox about and slammed on the leg anchors, bracing it against the hill. The vulcan cannon lifted from its place tucked against the fox's back, the oddly colored eyes set behind the controls focusing on the glaive that was headed straight for them. "Fire!" And he did, sending rounds of light as bright as the sun's rays streaming towards the flying reptile.

[[Haha, yes, very nice battle ^_^ but for future reference, I believe you only double the AT... not your AM + AT ^^; and sorry took so long for me to reply, I got busy with school X_X]]
Uosu felt the hit and almost slammed her head into the controls. She cursed and started pressing buttons and trying to start up the enguin. The Glaive's control screen only read "Total System Freeze." She refused to give up, she was too high and if she couldn't get the enguine going, at least enough to keep her from causing more desruction then the fox had to the zoid. At the last minute she managed to get the zoid to respod for a few seconds so she could keep from crashing. As soon as the flying lizard landed Uosu groaned and rubbed her head. Luckily, she only had a bump. Unluckily, her zoid would need some repairs. The pink haired pilot climbed out of the cockpit and stood near her zoid, one hand on her head, the other on her hip. She was very glad she bought some spare parts to fix the Glaive if it ever got thrashed, and she was also glad she actually payed attention when her father thought a few things about fixing zoids. This would, however, be a challenge.
