Dante cruised through the mountains weaving in and out of the different paths trying to work on his aerial maneuvers. He cruised as Daiyu sat on his shoulder holding onto his shirt. They did some rolls all enjoying the air and the practice outside. He sped forward pushing Aeris to her speed limit trying to make sure he could control Aeris at such high speed. Also he loved the speed and the rush he got as he flew fast watching the sky and ground pass him in a blur.Aeris Flying Fox

Ven was feeling...contemplative today. It had been a long day already, and he was grateful for the chance to simply take to the skies. The Jerk was playful today, effortlessly back-flipping, performing barrel rolls and the like. After a while, Ven gently straightened it out, just not in the mood for whatever reason. Thta was when he saw someone else above the mountains, sharing the sky with him. Establishing a com-link connection, Ven questioned idly, "Hey, what sorta zoid's that? Never seen anything quite like it before...Hybrid?" He had no idea that it was Dante in the cockpit, and would probably be more than happy to see a familiar face. Dante thought he heard a familiar voice over the comm so he flipped it on seeing Ven pop up. "Hey there" He spun up and around flying towards Ven and the Rainbow Jerk. "Nice to see you again, and yes it is a hybrid, between a Shadow Fox and Zubat. Hey I got an idea, want to spar or battle?" He smiled as he rapidly closed the distance on Ven, Daiyu smiling happily she is about to see a battle first hand for the first time.

An expression of utmost surprised flashed over his face, shattered when Ven grinned broadly. "Dante! It's been a while!" A hybrid between a Shadow Fox and a Zubat...impressive. "Sure, a battle sounds good...So long as you don't knock me out of the air, like this one guy." Ven snorted and shook his head at the thought, obviously not wanting to think about it. "A standard one-on-one, right? Ready when you are!"

Dante smiled, "Yes standard one on one, and its on." He flipped the switch turning on his Severing wings. He sped fast at him and turned at the last minute trying to cut him down the center. He sped forward hoping that Ven couldn't keep up and slide behind a mountain trying to make it hard for him to fight back. Dante was not going to make the fight easy for him.

The hit came hard and fast, and the Jerk was sent reeling. Ven yelped at the damage, and the Jerk cried out as well, both trying to shake it off in order to retaliate. Damn it, this was exactly like what had happened with that other guy! Ven shot the thrusters to the maximum, both wings extended as he did so, obviously looking to slash out at Dante and the Fox.
New EP = 33

Dante smiled but winced when he felt that he was attacked, Ven was fast he would give him that. He knew that he would win, he would win all his fights from now on. He would fix up Aeris nice and perfect and make sure everything was in tip top shape so he would never lose again.
He spun up into the air and turned down pointing his guns back at Ven, he let loose a barrage of shells. He tried pulling off a strafing run on Ven as he flew past him pulling up on the stick. Trying to make sure the bullets went ahrd across the back and thrusters of the Rainbow Jerk.

The Jerk was severely rattled from the blows, barely functioning, and Ven knew he was in trouble. He wouldn't go down without trying to do as much damage as possible, however! The Jerk swooped towards the Fox once more, wings flared, a piercing cry emitting from its beak.
New EP = 26
No good. The damage the Jerk had already taken made it impossible for it to fly properly--just when it got close to Dante, the zoid bobbled in mid air, dropping several feet and slashing at the space just below Aeris. Ven swore and closed his eyes, waiting for the final blow to fall.

Dante smiled as he watched Ven miss, this was going better than he thought it would. He dropped his smart bomb letting it lock on and follow Ven. It sped forward fast catching its target and exploding when it hit its target.
Dante spun around Aeris preparing for another strafing run if the bomb didnt take care of Ven. He watched carefully for the results of the damage, maybe Ven would go down and it would be over. Then he could go fix up the Rainbow Jerk, it was a nice Zoid and Ven was the first pilot he had ever met.

The Jerk shrieked once, and dropped like a stone, Ven swearing the whole way down. Not again! What was up with his major losing streak, recently?! Tugging hard on the controls, he managed to right himself, and the Jerk plowed straight into the rocky terrain below. "Tch, damn it!" He was angry with himself, sighing heatedly before slumping back in his seat. "Sorry buddy. Guess I let you down again, huh?"
With a groan, the man hauled himself out of the cockpit, placing his hands on his hips as he shook his head at the damage. This was gonna cost a pretty penny to fix, that was for sure. Shielding his eyes, he looked up for Dante and the Flying Fox.

Dante flew down low landing softly next to Ven and climbed out of the cockpit. "Well if you can get him walking or even flying and make it to my HC I can fix him up for you. It will be my pleasure after that kind of damage." He smiled happy he had won again, he was going to keep on winning too. He would not let Aeris or Daiyu down.
Daiyu stood up on his shoulder and clapped. He loved watching the fight and bowed to Ven showing him respect. Dante pet the top of her head as she sat back down, he was smiling. She was so cute and he was glad he had found her.

"Ah, really? That'd be great, thanks..." Ven grinned slightly, feeling some of his disappointment ebb away. Maybe he'd just been on a bad luck streak, recently. "Hey, can you also do a system check on it? The Jerk keeps faltering in its fights, and I'm wondering if that's why I keep missing so much..." He shook his head exasperatedly. "It's annoying." Just before he could climb in the cockpit, he realized that there was...well, a tiny creature on Dante's shoulder. "Whoa." He grinned sheepishly, both amused and curious about the tiny mechanical creature. "Who's that?"

Dante laughed hard, "Her name is Daiyu, shes a mini Zoid. They say she can sort of fuse to the Zoid and increase its Defense and Armor. Though I have never tried it yet, and dont worry about your Zoid. It will get completely fixed in my shop, learned the hard way about cutting corners on repairs to get back out fighting." He ran a hand through his jet black hair as he sat down closing the cockpit and taking off. He flew slow so Ven could keep up, they could finish this chat back at his HC.

"Daiyu, huh? And fusion..." A trio of hisses punctured that statement, and the Hydra VS curiously poked its head out of the cockpit to get a better look at this mini-zoid. "Right, thanks Dante." Slipping into the cockpit, Ven grimaced at how sluggish the Jerk was. It beat its wings vainly and, thrusting the boosters, Ven just barely managed to get it into the air. The Jerk was in bad shape, its flight jerky and labored. "Tch, you did a good number on me..."

Dante smiled landing next to his HC and looked at Ven following him. "Yea sorry about that, I didn't know I was doing that much damage." He climbed out of his cockpit and got everything ready for when Ven landed. The R.J. needed lots of work on it, due to all te damage he did, so he got ready for a lot of work.
