The Energy Liger seemed to have sombered ever since its loss. Having refused to listen to its pilot, it had heedlessly charged into battle by itself--and had been defeated. Mordecai was seething with malicious pleasure. He wouldn't gloat any longer, oh no....but the Liger was sulking, and he knew it. Almost absently, one hand delicately touched the control pannel, and the Liger growled. Lips slowly pulled into a smile, an expression he hadn't experienced in months now. They would win again. Now that the Liger would listen to him, there was no one would could stand in their way.Energy Liger Statistics Empire ? Liger Type

The adrenaline rush that Mugen received after a kill, well... was unfathomably enjoyable. To the average human being, killing somebody is not exaclty what you strive to do in life. For Mugen, well thats not so much the case. The altered iris had begun to shrink post-battle, and had now returned to its normal size. The black and golden eye fluctuated during battle, a sign of how much adrenaline Mugen's veins were receiving at the time. The teal Raynos, had landed momentarily for a quick fix and refuel. The chain linked 30mm cannons were ready again, and the man was edging for another fight. Thats when the Radar Dome did its electronic light show, brining up the 3D sensory array, spotting the moving zoid. They were just outside the city limits, approaching a nearby body of water. With a smirk Mugen opened up a com-link to the now visible Energy Liger, a very powerful zoid, but that had no influence on the mans decisions.::
This is Mugen Hamaguchi, and I hereby challenge you to a battle, mode 0992... and then maybe a little fun afterwards...
::The man grinned sardonically over the com-link, his altered eye enlarging its golden iris as he spoke.::

Luck was with them today. Mordecai too, experienced an unnatural pull towards the destruction of zoid and pilot. It was the reason he and the Energy Liger continued to function as one unit, bringing down any who got in their way. The Liger roared as the Raynos shot overhead--it had been fixed since its little mishap, and was eager to prove itself once more. Mordecai too, was in need to test their new bond--and the fact that the Raynos pilot was so eager to battle made it all the easier.
Roaring with approval as Mordecai increased its speed, the Liger bounded along, and promptly opened fire with its Double Pulsar Cannons. The pilot didn't even bother to respond to the com link. A battle, he wanted? Oh, he'd get one...

::Ah, he felt that one rock the aerial zoid. It wasn't so bad, but then again, he had evaded the majority of the pulsar's shots. With a sigh, then a grin, Mugen cut into the air, making a sweeping turn, the wings vertical to the ground. Once he was direclty behind the bounding Liger, Mugen settled the wings back horizontally, then increased the thrust of the Raynos, pushing Mach 3, as he threw a line of fire with the 30mm chain linked cannons at the E. Liger.::

Some of those bullets smashed into the Liger's unarmored legs, and it stumbled for a moment--flaring its wings to right itself. With that, the Energy Liger shot into the sky, whipping itself about and charging up that ferocious Hiblit it had. Bellowing a challenge, the Liger lowered its head as it shot towards the Raynos, attempting to smash straight into it now that the Hiblit was fully charged.
