I'm still trying to complete the look for this avie. she's got new hair now, i didn't consider this hair initially because i think the lump with a knitting needle through it on top looks daft, but her hat covers it so it's all good blaugh
but i still want her to have something to hold, any suggestions?

there are only 2 things that i can think of, the angelic staff
or the silver sceptre
i much prefer the angelic staff, but i'm hesitant to go for that for some reason, maybe because it's such a popular item, and it gives her too much of an angelic/fairy like look which isn't what i want. but it does look so much better than the sceptre confused

I really like the way the sceptre looks! It reminds me of a snow queen, and magic, rather than an angel like the staff does.

Well... you could always use one of these... Sun Staff OR... Royal Scepter Gold Since both of those match the Mythrill Armor better wink

... another option may be the (relatively common) cane that many of us Sweets tote around... question I've not checked the color matching - it's just some other option that comes to mind...
The sun staff, although certainly an option, seems to my mind a bit contradictory... especially with the rest of the look that you've achieved.
Overally, I really like the look and think you've done a great job in dressing the snow queen... heart

I didn't think the Sun Staff looked quite like it goes with the theme... but I did put it there pretty much just to show the color difference. I personally think the Royal Sceptre Gold looks really good... brings out more of the gold in the Mythrill Armor. It's also small enough that it's not overbearing and outdoing the rest of the look... where the Sun Staff... it actually does... in my opinion. The silver sceptre looks a bit off as far as color is concerned. confused
If it were me.. I'd choose between the angelic staff and the gold sceptre. 3nodding There wasn't really anything else that would really fit the look very well... OHH I forgot about the angelic bow thing... you could try that... it might look nice with your look question

i did try the angelbow when i first created this avie, but it's completely the wrong colour, all Khione's look is blue/white. but the bow is pure white and looks totally off unfortunately.
but the angelic staff is a perfect colour match.
i agree that the silver sceptre has far too hard a look against everything else, but the gold one does look very good.
i don't really want to introduce much gold to the look though, the touch on the armour is more than enough, i sort of prefer the look without the armour, as again the camisole is the right blue/white shades, but the look is too soft then. though i don't believe she was a mean Goddess in any way, i want her to look like a strong woman 3nodding
i do want to be able to vary her look a little though.
if i ever do enter her into the arena it will have to be a perfectly matched look though! sweatdrop

I like the gold staff the best too. biggrin
The one thing I have a problem with in your outfit are the socks. They are a completely different colour to your hat. sad Is there another pair you could use?
Maybe the candy cane sock things?

Honestly, I really like the way that the gold scepter looks. You notice it, but it's small enough to not be overwhelming. And it contrasts in just the right way to bing out the main color combo--as does the armor. I've always found that avs without good contrast look washed out. I will say that the silver sceptre doesn't look bad with the outfit though, and compliments it almost just as well.
The staff of the angels looks good, but detracts a little from the av itself because it xtends beyone the outline of the av as a whole--draws the eye away from it. It just doens't make the same type of contrast that the sceptred would.

i think it will be a toss up between the angelic staff and the gold sceptre, but seeing as one is gained from tickets there's no harm in persuing both!
Jenny i know the stocking don't quite match the hat, but it's the best that's on offer, i certainly don't want stripes, that would be too frivolous and not the sort of look i want at all, these stockings are a stop gap until a better item comes along really, as there isn't anything else that looks ever close to right at the moment, plus they keep her warm! i didn't want bare legs ninja
so i think i shall visit tektek and get a couple of quest bars sorted, for the angelic staff, and the gold sceptre, which will give me some room for outfit tweaking when i fancy it too.
and i shall keep my fingers crossed for some possible items from the December letters or the Christmas event 3nodding
