((This is an RP between LSX's Damu and Wooga's Kimaji
At the far FARRRRRR border's of the Mistweaver and Jungle territory.)) Ahhhhhh.
The joy's of growth.
The young Firekin was old enough to finally explore the world beyond the pride...it looked really funky.
Never the less, the border's of the dessert was just a good run's away from here and if he was in trouble he could return to the pride and his mom.
But he doubted that he would need help.
Besides...this place was almost as dry as home, he thought this place was supposed to be lush and green and whatever?
However, he didn't let that stop him as he approached a nearby watering hole and started to drink from it.
That was half the reason coming here.
Fresh, non murky water that hit his stomach like a cold tonne of bricks.

She hadn't been to this border before, and to say the least, it was pretty funny. The young female was swimming, this time, without any trees to cover from sun, it was pretty odd. Kimaji had grown, and had actually managed to catch things for Swaii, and he had seemed pretty happy about it. But with age came curiosity, and so she had strayed from the forest she'dknown as home, not towards the border shared with the pridelands, but towards the one with the firekin.
There was still some water out here, despite the drought, and whenever she could, the adolescent would swim, most unlike many feline. But red against yellow called alot of attention, and when the young female caught sight of this red, she paddled towards it.
Red! Like Uumi. But it didn't look that much like Uumi-- no. Uumi had been more red-ish. But this was red too. "Hi! "She piped out, easly swimming towards the firekin, soaked from head to tail-tip.

The red male's rear's perked up atop his lighter red mane that just now had started to spring forth from his neck and chest.
Soft blue eye's catching sight of the female infront of him and cocking his head to the side curiously...why was she coloured that way?
Was she sick?
Or was she some mystic lion from the water?
However, that just interested him as he watched her draw closer.
"Hi...are you alright?"

Blue eyes blinked, and she stopped at the watersedge before reaching the male, resting her paws on it. He was red-ish, eah. And white, Uumikaji didn't have white.
"Yeah! Are you good? " Of course, by 'alright', she thought it was one of those 'how you doin'?' kind of questions, not asking if she were sick. "Who're you? " She swished her tail out of the water, only to flop it back in again when the waters wight pulled its fluff down.

The male just blinked at that and shook his face before slowly moving a step closer.
"Uhmmm...I'm...good." Not really knowing how to properly answer the question as he watched the strange gray lioness.
However, he cleared his throat at her next question and continued to keep a sharp blue eye on her.
"I'm Damu...who're you?"

He was fnny, yeah. Maybe his head was boggled up. Then again, her own was pretty much that way too. The female pulled herself out of the water with ease, shaking herself dry, paws sliding off the sand a bit, almost making her fall back into the river.
"Hi Damu! " She said contently, sitting down, a friendly smile playing across her face. Her tail swished, fluffy tip taking sand with it, then flinging it off. "I'm Kimaji! "

The young male couldn't help but blink more, taken aback by this females spunky behaviour.
He was splashed slightly as she shook herself dry and then looked over her once or twice, only to give a friendly smile her way.
Something no Firekin should every give a Mistweaver...then again, he didn't know she was on did he?
"So, Kimaji, what are you doing here?" He asked curiously.

The lioness blinked as he looked her over, but shrugged it off, smiling just as friendly as she had been before.
"Kimaji was swimming, does Damu swim too? " She beamed, tail swishing behind her contently. "Its good when its hot! "

The lion gave a very confused look to her, only to pad over and look judgingly at the water, before wrinkling his muzzle disdainfully.
He'd never gotten used to water, there being so little where he lived, so didn't know how on earth to swim.
However, he looked to the female and blinked softly.
"I'm sorry but I don't swim, never learned how where I come from." He said bluntly, but not in a rude way, just in a matter of fact way.

"Where do you come from, Damu? "
She sat down, ears foreward at this red lion. He was pretty big, wasn't he? She seemed oblivious to this, though, even if, if she sat next to him, she'd look pretty small and weak. Not that she wasn't.
"Kimaji is from the forest. "
