Maggeh never thought he'd fall in love with an anime. He's more of a manga and manhwa person. The only anime he watched to the end was Azumanga Daioh, and that was because the anime followed the manga closely. Even Naruto, One Piece and Bleach, which I love as a manga, didn't cut it for me.
The Hellsing OVA is different. It stays true to the story in so many ways. It's not like the anime Hellsing. The OVA is pure awesomeness. Despite the fact that only two episodes came out, I've fallen in love with the thing. The fight between Luke and Alucard was pure awesomeness. I love what they did with Luke. Dude even got a knife! Whoo! Jan was quite awesome, too. I loved his lanky movements. Dude's like a clown.
It has what the original didn't have. Humor. One of the reasons I didn't like the FMA anime was because it lacked humor. Same goes for the Hellsing anime. Macabre doesn't cut it for me in an anime.
Plus, it stays true to the art style. What I liked about the manga was its art style. Constantly changing, unique. The OVA also has that.
What's not to love?
I regret the fact that the third episode will come out next year. That's too long to wait.

Quite understandable.
It happens to myself a lot.
I often ramble on and realize that I'm not even talking anymore.

I know how you feel.
Half the time that is me.I usually end up talking to myself.I'll end up being my own best friend at times.
Um...Dude, arent' you and Maggeh the same person?-eats last candy cane flavored Viva puff- Technically you would be, unless there are two people typing.....Which if there isn't, you and Maggeh are the same person..I think...I'm stupid....I think we're going to be good friends.
@Padme: I don't really read or watch anime or manga anymore.I can finish manga books five minutes, and Anime just bugs me.Exceptt for Ouran host club.
