Advancing Plots: To advance the plot you first have to figure out a few things and find clues. Then those clues will lead you straight to the next thing. Of course when you die your knowledge dies as well, unless you wrote what you knew down for the others. Of course Clues will be repeated many times so you know what to try and do or get. Places the journal entries are will get more difficult as time progresses.

Beastiary:
Leapers - Creatures that are small and jump out at you they are harmless and try to frighten you to death. Not a threat don't worry about them just their distractions.
Shriekers - Short monsters that look like dogs and cats only without fur and covered in scales. Most often found in small rooms where they wait to bite and claw you. Simple one hit will kill them.
Gair - A tall humanoid demon that is found in the bathrooms of the mansion. For some reason these guys peep on women who enter then kill them. Often the shower curtains are closed when they are in the bathrooms hinting for when you should not enter. Also appear in medical rooms.
Zombie - Generic zombies that are easily killed and slow some of them are big and powerful but pose no real threat.
Creeps - Large demons that lurk in the shadows of the halls and can't be killed quickly at all. Normally their armor protects them from any attackers. Most often the creeps hunt alone but if they are in a group stay back and run for your life. They appear humanoid and in scale armor plus they can use any weapon flawlessly and even there body motions are like fluid fire.
Chi - Mainly live in the mansions upper floors. Generally wield human weapons and appear inside of armor strewn across the halls. These are spirits bound to armor or statues.
Chomp - Several are found in the mansion these creepy plants are indestructible and grow like weeds. They are potted though and can't leave where they are put. Only thing about them is you can blow off the heads and run right past them. Just shoot them till they "wither" but they shall grow back later.
Torchresses - Female demons that can control flames to a certain extent. Melee weapons work best on them but rifles are suggested.
Obscure - Shapeless ghouls that are pieces of others put together in sacks of flesh. most often grotesque and decaying this is one vile thing that you won't want to encounter unless with a group.
Goliath - Monstrous creatures that stand over 8 feet tall. These behemoths of the mansion are located in the dining hall and other large rooms. Some even mastered moving through shadows some how. But don't worry you die fast when one spots you.
When to Run:
White Noise - Radios play static noises and TV's show the white screen and static sound.
Scraping of metal - Run for your life something is nearby and carries a weapon.
Screams - Obviously you head for the hills... or nearest empty room!
Gun Fire - Heh you should be safe if it's a person shooting.
Fire - wait what?! Fire why is the mansion still standing then!?
Weapons: Ammo for guns is in certain rooms and dropped by some creatures.
Pistols - Generic revolvers to simple clip guns. Good against most things but bad for group attacks.
Shotguns - Typical zombie killer and even better for the leapers when they group up.
Rifle - Great for hitting things at the other end of a hall or corridor. Incredible firepower not a lot of rounds. Horrible close range.
Knife - Rangeing from butter knives all the way to kunai these things are quite useful for you.
Swords - Small swords and up these can be found on demons and even random suits of armor in the hall.
Fisticuffs - Gauntlets with special blade attachments and can't be used with guns strictly for melee characters.
Bombs - For some reason we have none but we do have smoke pellets to distract monsters. Those and blood capsules for distracting anything in your path.
