You are my soul.
I love you for that.
The sun shines over us.
As I smile at you.
We do not see the dark clouds.
While we whisper our love.
I never saw you leave.
As my heart collasped.
A kiss, a farewell, a forgotten token.
You were my soul.
I wander the streets.
Hoping for a challenege.
They see me, and know at once.
My body is battered, but my spirit survives.
I still feel alive.
Perhaps you have not forgotten.
I watch the moon and the seasons.
As I wait for you.
My soul is gone as I awake.
Only to find a letter.
I am now at your grave.
I leave you flowers.
Farewell, my soul.
As I cry out through tears.

If I did that with every chapter of Lacausta or installment of Kirby's World, you guys would get no peace at all.

Very nice piece. Your transistion worked very well within this piece which helped the flow go smoothly. The idea of you are my everything has been used alot.. but to make it into your 'soul' was a nice way to put it. All around this was a very good piece and a nice read. Can't wait for more.

Sounds like somebody grew up by the line "Farwell, my soul" either that or your just insane now. But in actuality who isnt?
