Please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE don't be that player with annoying macros for EVERYTHING. They get EXTREMELY annoying in xp parties. Use simple, informative macros.

Before you use your WS make a macro for:
/ja "Focus"
/wait 1
/ja "Berserk"
/wait 1
/ja "Boost"
Use it to boost your WS

For your WS macros, I simply use:
<<< Executing Spinning Slash(or whatever WS) on >>>
/wait 1
/ws "Spinning Slash"
Lets your SC partner know that you are using WS if you start the chain.

Now, for hundred fists I wouldnt recommend a macro, you may accidentally hit it. But, if you do make one - make sure it is far away on the keyboard from your normal xp party macros. You can be creative with this one ^^.

Raise: Look busy, God's coming!
/em kicks 's dead body.

Protectra: I grant the Ultimate Blue Bubble Protection of Condom God!

Funny: /em pets , which turns into a sensual massage.

Funny2: /em gives candy, but instead of candy, it's death.

Pie: Shut up or I'll cram this up your pie hole.

It's good to macro everything -- you don't want to be fooling with the interface in an emergency.

Just don't have every macro saying what you're doing to the pt. e.g. a annoying boost message is unneeded. A message saying you're going to do your WS in 3 seconds may be appropriate though. ^^

Anytime I'm with my LS in a noob party together (leveling subs, etc) I make sure all my macros have annoying messages for EVERYTHING.

Boost
/p LET'S GET SEXY!! ( )

Provoke
/p omg ur dum n u smell bad i h8 u ( )

Since my RDM friends HATE the Refresh macros they see from paladins and other mages, I have to do something to let them know that I, a melee, love them too, thus:

Haste
/p @haste omg plz plz plz

Dispel
/p omg plz dispel

Heh, annoying macros are fun sometimes.... I only used them on the spells I don't cast very often, but I'm also in a set party (we've been together for 32 levels!) and we all know each other now, so we do goofy stuff sometimes.

WHM macros:

Raise
/say Rage, rage against the dying of the light!
/welcome motion
/ma "Raise"
/wait 15
/ma "Cure II"

Flash (You have to be a Queen fan to get this one....)
/p (Flash)! Savior of the Universe!*
/ma "Flash"

Burst (For when I have some spare mana, heh....)
/p 1337 whm (Burst)!
/ja "Elemental Seal"
/wait 3
/ma "Blizzard"

I also use "Are you lookin' at me, ?" when pulling as THF.

If you want to go for silly with Boost, throw in a little DBZ, like
/p Super Saiyan Power Up! (Boost)!
/ja "Boost"

But I agree with Dakinn - in general, less is more with macros, and adding funny quotes and such can not only get annoying, but clutters the chat for anyone watching for spells effects etc. It depends on who you play with, too.

Only make annoying macros when you xp with a static, most of the time other people will find them not funny and in general annoying.

Don't be that person who thinks they are being cute/funny with their macros, when in reallity you are making a fool out of yourself.

IF you do decide to do it anyways - I would quit using them after qufim.

my monk macros:

I prefer to keep boost, focus, dodge, berserk etc all separate from WS macros, in case I need to hit a WS really fast for a chain, sometimes don't have the luxury of waiting for a the boost animation to complete, etc.

one of my favorite to use in dungeons is:

/attack --it auto-targets the mob that the puller pulled and is on his way back with.

/recast "Focus"
/recast "Dodge"
/recast "Berserk" -- this shows the timer on the abilities, very very useful for knowing exactly how long before you can use the ability again

/kneel motion
/wait 3
/em synthezised a Meat Tarukabob! --.... ninja

/p [monk] TP= --for skillchains, of course

(I just hit lvl35 on my monk, too, by the way, hurray for monks and heart chakra)

My macros on my WAR...Only 5 things have text that show in the pt...

Provoke, Sneak Attack, TP status, weaponskills, and ranged attack if I'm forced to pull for some reason.

Everything else like Steal, Berserk, Defender, and Aggressor don't have any text. Just one line for the job ability and that's it.
