My school used to stay open for town kids when there was a blizzard
and I live in town
so it would be me
and maybe ten other kids in school.
Of course, now I've graduated
so there's no such thing as a snow day. surprised

A lot of businesses are closing today too. It's pretty insane.

Bah, we never get snow days, because in the UK we only get shitty melty snow.
That said, our school used to get flooded all the damn time. They replaced the hall floor about four times, 'cause every autumn it'd get ruined. Then they tore the whole thing down (because it was ancient and terrible, not just because it flooded) and built a new one further up the hill. So no more floods and no more days off. D:

I live in indiana~
the snow and s**t circled us all around, up down side to side
did not hit us
i was like WTF THIS SUCKS
i guess it wouldnt have mattered. my school is notorious for having school when all else doesnt. we were once the only school perhaps even in the state without a delay with most others being closed. : D our bus got stuck in a snow drift and we were two and a half hours late to school.
