Intro Flash has finally made to the Blitz pack, and found other wolves. her heart went out to one named Riau. After several weeks of spending solo time with him she slowly broke in the new she was expecting pups. Now is the day they will have the experience of their lives.

Flash gently closed her eyes as she felt a sudden pain run through her. Her eyes quickly raced looking for something to take her mind of this terrible pain. She was in the den Riau had dug for her and their pups. He paced frantically outside, her ears twitched to the sound of his heavy paws. He was making her even more nervous then she already was. 'What if it doesn't survive? I have never been a mother before what if I don't know what to do?' ran through her mind, there was no turning back now the process was barely beginning.

Riau paced frantically as he heard the constant whines of his mate in labor. He bent low to the ground daring himself to sneak a peak in at his mate. She growled at him, immeaditally he backed away and continued his pacing. Soon he head a small weak whimper of his newborn.

He leaned his face in the den taking in the scent of the pup. "I love you." He whispered to Flash as she smiled in reply showing him his pup. "It's a girl. Do you wish to name her?" She bent her head low licking her daughter clean. "How about..." He paused for a brief moment before saying it. "Raevyn."

"Raevyn...perfect." Flash answered as she nuzzled her newborn. The pup whimpered as it pushed itself closer to her mothers stomach protected from the cold and needing something to eat.
Riau bent low licking his makes cheek, "I'll be back." He took off like a flash of lightning into the deep forest in search of some food for his mate. 'Rabbit would be good tonight.' he thought to himself as he then started sniffing the ground for a scent.

Riau finally picked up a faint scent about two hours old. He pranced behind it nose pinned to the ground. He came to a small clearing in the center of the forest, Riau lay on his belly ears listening for sudden noises. His eyes circled from one corner of his eye to the other. Riau licked his black lips spotting a fairly large brown hare. Puling his paws under his body he began one step at a time moving closer until he was finally in range of the perfect attack. The hare lifted his ears taking off at the sound of Riau's failed attemp to get closer. Springing, his black claws dug deep into the fresh earth following the hare into the beginning of the forest. He leapt over several fallen logs trying to gain ground. With one finally leap he pinned the hare and eventually snapped its small neck. A smirk of triumph crossed his face as he hurridly made his way back to his mate.

Flash happily watched her pup. She smiled sweetly as she sang a soft song to calm her whimpers. Licking Raevyn gently, Flash dropped her head to her paws as Riau came closer into her sights a dead rabbits hanging from his massive jaws. he dropped it at the front of the den pushing it inside. "Eat up. You need your strenght." He laid by the enterance smiling at his daughters whimpers, she soon calmed down as she drank milk from her mom. "Arn't you going to eat aswell?" Flash questioned tilting her head slightly. He shock his head smiling, "Don't worry about me. I'll eat later." Flash slowly dug her jaws in beginning to eat the dead hare.

Raevyn ears stood, as she could hear a faint murmer. Frightened she wiggly deeper into her mothers stomach looking for protection. Flash whispered gently into her ear. "Shush. It's okay little on, i'm here." Raevyn stopped realizing it was the wolf who gave birth to her, her mother that was speaking.

After several days Raevyn finally grew being able to walk, see, smell and her speech was understandable. She raced to the entrance of the den peering out excitedly. Her ears flattened against her head as she carefully looked around for any signs of her parents only to catch her father sleeping nearby, one eye opened watching her. "Dad I know you're not sleeping!" She pounced on him chewng his ear playfully. "Hmm is it that noticeable?" He laughed as he rolled shaking loose his daughter from her grip. Raevyn laughed as she rolled around on the ground until she was face right again.

Raevyn giggle, as a funny grin grew on Riau's face. At first he didn't know if he was going to be a good father figure, but now he was beginning to like his new role in life. Raevyn was growing so fast Riau hated to see a new day approach. He stood walking towards Raevyn, grabbing her by the scruff of her neck, "Stay with your mother." He dropped her in front of the den. "But daddy!" Raevyn protested, before realizing he had won she sauntered off into the den laying at the entrance.

Flash rolled onto her side, eyes gently fluttering open. She smiled at Raevyn who whinned softly tail wagging shaking around loose dirt and rocks. aevyn was so close to her father and her mother sometimes felt at a loss without the daughter-mother relationship. "Raevyn, care to go for a walk?" Flash questing as she stood pushing Raevyn gently with her nose. "But what about daddy?" Raevyn questioned. "Don't worry he'll know where were gone, he's a smart wolf."

Raevyn crouch low a smiled forming on her face as she was pushed to her feet by her mother. Flash smiled as they slowly moved down a cleared path from many day's being traveled chatting away with each until Raevyn became brave and started to run laughing happily as her mother chased after her, she felt like a little girl again.

Raevyn laid low as her tail wagged from side to side. Her eyes glowing with excitement as she watched her mother crouch low ready for a pounce to attempt to catch the little daredevil. Raevyn grinned a toothy grin as she barked taunting her mother onwards, "Haha catch me if you can."
