As some of the members who've been with the guild for a while may remember, I made this thread a long time ago, but like many other threads it was push into the black hole that is the second page. Well, the guild has gained so many new members since then, and I am interested in hearing who they like using the most. So, if you play the AVP games who do you like using the most and why?
For me, I like using the Marine the most, mainly because I just like using machine guns and shot guns a lot better than using claws, spears, and laser guns.

Well are you asking the favorite character or the character you are most comfortable with? Personaly I like the predator most but I am best with the marine. Expecialy if its a 3 way battle between a pred, maeine, and alien. Man I hate switching to thermal and fighting a marine and then switching visions again and finding an alien an inch away from your face. I did that once and it nearly scared me half to death. I jumped and let me tell you I may not like going down dark hallways with those hissing noises the aliens make but I don't jump easily when playing AvP.

It's too bad the original AvP Gold Edition doesn;t seem to work online anymore, I'd love playing with you guys on multiplayer in some of their levels...

I always seem to do the best with the marines. But I love playing with the pred. And I really suck a** with the xenos.

I mean it's pretty fun to be able to climb on walls and jump how many feet in the air, but it's just that I prefer using weapons on FPSs.

i generally walk around with a sniper rifle. smartdisks are bad too.

The only weapons I really have trouble avoiding in the games are both in the second one, the netgun and the grenade lancher. (It's easy to avoid the grenade itself, but god does it get ******** annoying for people to just blow themselves and you up when you're up close.)

How else are they going to kill you at close quarters?
