Haidar made his way away from the Teepee Cualtzin had showed him. He told him that it wasn't his teepee, but Tally's Teepee. Haidar didn't understand why they didn't live in the same one. It was quite strange to him.
He stopped and started to smell the air. He didn't want to get too far from the teepee. Though, Cualtzin told him to go and enjoy himself out and about. It was kind of hard when you had no one to spend with. "At least I'm loved here" he said to himself. Now it was time to forget about his past. Yes. Start a new life.

Viscoso was too busy stalking a frog to notcie the wolf not far off in the distance. I'm gonna get it this time, he thought to himself. Finally he pounced out of the tall grass, aimed at the small green frog, but was once again not fast enough to catch the little critter. "Darnit", he mummbled as he settled down in the grass to try his pounce again.

Haidar heard something near by. More like someone. When he looked in the direction he heard it from, he saw something very shinny and colorful and with a horn. What the?
He edged closer. Curiosity, yet slightly frightened, caused the young wolf to not go too close. It looked like the creature was trying to catch something. But what? He crouched down in the grass, watching for a few minutes. Perhaps he was trying to eat the whatever the creature was trying to catch.
One ear twitched down as he tilted his head. Finally he realized what exactly the creature was. It was nothing more then a little soquili. Mini one perhaps? Or was it a foal? He went a little closer, but not too close, the horn was quite scary. What if it used it to hurt others? He shuttered at the thought of that, making the grass around him russle more then he wanted. He went silent. Perhaps the little foal wouldn't know where he was.

Viscoso wiggled his butt, ready to pounce on the little frog again, when his attention turned to the rustling in the grass a few feet away. "Who's there?", he asked, his ears perked towards the noise. "Is that you Elawi? If you scare me I'm telling Mom!" The colt took a few steps forward and then realized it was only a small wolf. Giggling a little, he bent his head down to the creature. "Hi there. Sorry I thought you were my sister. She likes to sneak up on me a lot. My name's Viscoso, who're you?"

No! His plan backfired, the little foal was coming closer. His ears went down and his tail went flat to the ground. Eyes shutting hopeing that the foal wouldn't see him What if he tried to hurt him. He tried not to make any sounds, even his breathing was silent.
Then, a voice came, not like before. It was much closer. No! It found him. Though, instead of a mean voice, it was a very kind one. Well, that could be the little one fooling him!
The foal willingly gave him his name and was acting much like Cualtzin. All tricks! Ticks! The foal just wanted him to get off guard! He opened his eyes and looked up at the foal. Not making any sounds but staring. Perhaps the foal would think he couldn't talk and lose interest.
Of course that plan would fail. He cleared is throat. "D-don't hurt me." He said only eyes on the horn the little one had on it's head. Much different then Cualtizn indeed! It was going to stab him! He shut his eyes again waiting for the pain of the horn to go right into his body...
Nothing happened. He opened his eyes again. Perhaps this wasn't someone to be afraid of. Re-thinking what the young foal had asked Haidar shyly said. "H-haidar."

Viscoso tilted his head at the little wolf curiously. "Hurt you? Why would I hurt you? I'm just a foal and besides why would I hurt someone so small like you?" Vis nudged the wolf's side a little, with his muzzle. "Haidar is a cool name. Who're you staying with?", he asked.

He raised his head, ears still down. He looked at the foal. " Cu.. Cualtzin." He said not sure weather or not this little one knew him or not. He wasn't sure about alot of things. So far, everyone was nice. Though, not everything could be nice, so it was only a matter of time before he ran into someone mean.

"Really?! Your friends with Speckles too?! That's so cool! He's one of my best friends", he said happily nodding in excitement. "I bet you and I will be good friends too, don't ya think?" Viscoso hadn't met a wolf before and who would have thought that the first one he met would be one that was friends with his best friend.

Haidar stood up. Well, this wasn't bad. He wagged his tail slightly, but remembered what his mother said. They weren't dogs, He was a wolf. Wolves don't wag tails. He tilted his head at the foal. "Speckles?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. He was sure Cualtzin's name was Cualtzin, not Speckles.
As quickly as the little foal, Haidar also changed the subject. "Oh! You want to be my friend? I only know Cualtzin and Tally, and their almost born babies." He said happily. He met some wolves, but they didn't seem to like him at all. Not one bit.
It was amazing how fast Haidar forgot about his frightened side. Though, there was no reason to be frightened now. Any friend of Cualtzin's was sure to be nice just like he was. This time, he couldn't help but wag his tail. He wasn't around mother anymore, but he still needed to keep the wolf line him in. But, he was still a pup, not even a year old yet. He figured it would be just fine with only the little foal here.
