SPECIALIST RANKS CURRENTLY UNDER REVISION Specialist Ranks Specialist ranks may be acquired once one has attained the requisite rank, and it will often require a specific task or special training to be accomplished in order to achieve it. With the acquisition of a specialist rank comes great prestige and varying degrees of responsibilities well as allowances into ones roleplaying, making them able to perform greater feats not normally admitted. Note that they are perpetually in a state of redevelopment, and as such, they are subject to change, deletion, and addition of others. Soon the specific responsibilities associated with each and the leniencies given will be described.
Shock Trooper- A sturdy soldier who is used for psychological damage nearly as much as physical. They are used to break through garrisons and eliminate security forces.
Applicant must display in guild RP or other IC guild related situation the propensity to serve in this situation. Requires Senior Sergeant.
Praetorian- Extremely well disciplined and pious, these brave soldiers act as bodyguards and as elite shock troops when extreme force and precise skill are needed.
Applicant must display unparalleled skill in combat, as well as the ability to protect a person, object, and/or location. Requires Lance Lieutenant.
Commissar- An officer of great combat potential. They are oft sent as officers to other armies to show our presence and lead lesser armies. For others to refuse a Commissar's word is a grave insult.
Applicant must display high leadership ability and skill in combat. "Formal training" by Xenos Mortium will be required. Requires Major.
Inquisitor- An extremely pious and stern soldier who seeks out heresy within the Latrocinium and deals with it. Everyone is obligated to help them, should they be a member or not. They may condemn before presenting evidence and use any degree or measure to reach their goals.
Applicant must display undoubted loyalty to the guild and a great deal of wisdom and judgment. IC they must also display undying loyalty. Initiation rites likely required. Requires Colonel.
Custos- A spy who infiltrates enemy installations to obtain information. Should they be caught, they are not to divulge any information, and we will decline any claims of their existence.
Applicant must demonstrate skill in both stealth in infiltration in IC guild event or RP. They must also demonstrate or be trained in intelligence gathering and interrogation. Requires Staff Sergeant.
Intelligence Officer- All intelligence and information obtained by the espionage division is diverted to this individual, who is in charge of assessing the information and relaying it to the commanding officer.
Applicant must prove themselves as an officer and adept at logistics, as well as have a background in intelligence gathering work and be able to compile information well. Requires Major.
Magister- A most skilled assassin and custos, they are sent on missions where exact precision and extreme skill and stealth are required. They are generally able to kill a man in a room without others knowing it, and can retrieve any degree of information necessary.
Applicant must demonstrate themselves to be a master assassin and intelligence agent, unparalleled in their field. At this point it has become more of an art, and formal training will not be required. Requires Colonel.
Confessor- An experienced soldier who has obtained some renown. They are to root out heretics, but more importantly, they are to manage relations outside the Latrocinium and force others to agree with them.
Applicant must display high leadership ability and skill in espionage. They must act as a living representation of the Latrocinium when need be. Requires Brigadier.
Adjudicator- Simply put, one who resolves. They act as a judge to solve internal dispute and may act as an arbiter in external dispute. With this position comes great prestige and it is most often held by retired officers. Other duties include the advising of all members in the Latrocinium.
Applicant will be required to be very wise and intelligent, viewed by everyone to be fair and just. All members of the Latrocinium will have an option to vote whether they achieve the position, and if any one person disagrees, then they will not attain the position. Requires General.

Medals and Special Recognitions This has been created by the sole intent and desire for me to issue out medals and special recognitions to members who have earned them. There are, as of yet, six possible metals to attain.  Service Badge: The easiest to obtain medal, which can be attained by performing tasks or participation in certain events. High Service Badge: Much harder to get than the simple Service Badge, this medal requires a major undertaking or show of leadership capability. Distinguished Service Badge: The Distinguished Service Badge is given to officers who show capable leadership attributes and shows a great deal of responsibility towards duty. Medallion Crimson: An unusual medal by most standards, the Medallion Crimson is given to those who show extreme aggresion and even a sense of bloodlust on the battlefield. However, doing such while endangering oneself or others of the Latrocinium will negate the medal. Order of Glory: Awarded for extreme bravery or even heroism, beyond what is expected of the average soldier, yet not yet fitting the qualifications of the Gallantry Cross. Gallantry Cross: The highest medal given by the Black Templars, given for gallantry and intrepidity at risk of life above and beyond the call of duty. It is rare to see one of these medals awarded, and it is much cherished. Also, do to its nature, this medal is often awarded posthumously.

Service Ribbons After completing training or a event/mission/campaign, a soldier will receive a service ribbon which denotes what they have taken place in. As the event occurs, more ribbons will be created, and they will all be taken from this selection: RibbonsSo far we have ribbons for the three phases of training and the Coup d'etat of Senegal.
