I am completely against the fact that Toyota is getting into NASCAR next season. Anyone else feel this way? I mean, NASCAR is an American sport...I think they need to stick to American cars...

I don't see why not. NASCAR has always been a sport to prove which is best among American cars, but really it's only testing driving capabilities, as all the cars are such a close match up. To Bring Toyota into the picture, that would be cool, see which is the best of American vs. Import.

I don't think that they should because it has allways been to see what American auto maker owns the race track. Dodge, Ford and such pretty much sums it up.

i think its a good idea it will attract more fans. and the only thing that represents the auto maker in todays nascar is the logo on the front of the cars... the body's have been so highly modified that they hardly represent the cars that they are suposed to.

A tercel would need a lot more than engine work to make it effective on the oval track. You would probably want a whole tube frame for it.
