That's weird... I think the first is good to keep at home and show your friends, but for the internet I preffer the second... You only need to lighten it a bit... looks like the scanner light was broken... I know you don't use scanner, you use a digital camera... Wouldn't it be better if you used the flash? or is it flashlight in english? I always say flash, but there is the language thing...

The first one because the character looks too out of place in the second one. If you don't like the dark background that much, you can always use photoshop to lighten the pic... I think. I'm really inexperienced with photoshop so I'm guessing.
