Cualtzin made his way through the forrest. He wanted to get some wood that would help make the baskets for his little babies. He hummed along with a few branches in his mouth. Tally would be so proud of him. He wanted everything to be perfect.
The wind blew coldly on Cualtzin's back. It threatened to snow soon. He was happy at that. He loved the snow. Hopping their little ones would be christmas babies. He smiled. Still humming as he had sticks in his mouth. Which, didn't even sound like a hum, more like a mumbles from the sticks.
He was very happy today, nothing could go wrong at all. Well, so he thought, or would it just get even better for him. The Leopard Appy had no clue what was about to happen to day.

Haidar walked around slowly. Ears down and tail between his legs from fright. He'd just become a full grown wolf. Losing the pac of his was horrible. How was he ever going to explain this to his mother and father? What if they never found him again? Tears rolled down his cheek as the thought of never seening his family again.
He was still little, but in a big body. He continued to look around. He didn't know where he was. They where chasing a rabbit. He wasn't fast enough like hunting pac. He stopped and cleaned his tears with his paw with one easy swipe.

Cualtzin stopped. He could hear cracking of branches coming towards him. His ears went straight up, sticks dropping from his mouth as he stood there frozen for what seemed like forever. His tail flicked out of being nervious. What if it was something horrible?
His eyes were pilled to where the sounds were coming from. What if it was a mean soquili, what if it was a lion? What if it was a wolf? Wolves scared him. Still frozen and just stood there looking slightly frightening.

Haidar didn't even know that he was about to run into a soquili. Coming around a tree. Having his eyes to the ground he didn't notice the stallion until he saw the hooves right in front of him.
Eyes getting big, he slowly lifted his head to see what exactly he had ran into. He'd never seen a creature like this. Ears flattened. Crouched down as if he was about to be hit by something. He was horrified of this huge creature infront of him.
"D..Don't eat me!" He said in a small quiet voice. This was bad. What if this thing liked eating wolves? He wanted to run, but he couldn't. He just was sitting there like a pathetic scardy cat.

Cualtzin wanted to yell as he saw the little wolf coming towards him. Before he did anything, he noticed the wolf was different. Or was it tricking him? He stood there to watch the wolf who seemed to not notice him yet.
Soon, the wolf stopped and looked up at him. Cualtzin smiled kindly at the little guy. It seemed his smile scared him. "Oh!! No! I won't eat you. Don't worry. No need to be afraid!."

Coming out of his surprise slightly, Haidar opened his eyes and relaxed a little. His ears went up slightly as he looked at the soquili. He was such a loud big beast. Though, kindness ran through him.
"Yo..you won't?" He said hopeful. What if he was lying though? Tail still under him, and not sure what to think. Haidar just sat there staring at the beast that towered over him.

Cualtzin laughed. Of course he wouldn't eat this little guy. He didn't think meat would taste too good. In truth, he thought the wolf was going to eat him. This was good. The wolf and him could be friends! That way, the wolf could convince others of it's type not to hurt him or his soon to be family.
He smiled at the little wolf. "I eat leaves, and grass." he walked around the little wolf, hoping it wasn't frightening him. He did look helpless on the ground looking like a lost puppy. "Say, where you from? I mean, you aren't from here are you?"
Cualtzin totally forgot about the sticks he was gathering. He would get around to it soon enough. They had plenty of time. Tally wasn't even fat yet. He couldn't wait. Tally grew more and more beautiful each day.

Haidar perked up hearing that the creature ate only grass and leaves. Though, being circled by him wasn't totally convincing that he didn't eat little wolves like himself. He made sure he didn't take his eyes off of the huge creature.
He shook his head. He wasn't from around here. Where ever "here" was. He felt completely hopeless. It was like his pac left him on purpose. If they didn't, they would have been looking for him by now. "Nnn..no, I'm slightly lost." He said still with a hint of nervousness to him. He didn't trust anyone right now.
A bit curious on what this creature was, he needed to know. "Wh-what are you?" He'd seen deer, which were slightly like him. But not. Deer were small and easy to chase and eat. This guy seemed to be alot different, and had no horns. He also had a mane and tail. His curiousity sometimes made him forget his fear.
Standing up, he tilted his head at the creature waiting for him to answer. It wasn't like it was a hard question, though perhaps he didn't say it right. "What type of creature are you? I've never seen anything like you."

Stopping back infront of the wolf. It seemed weird, he'd never seen one so small and cute and harmless. It was grand. Perhaps there was a reason for this? Who knew? He smiled as he saw the little creature had warmed up abit. Standing now, he started to ask questions.
"Oh, well I'm a horse of course." He said as if it was a very silly thing to ask. How didn't this wolf know what a horse was? They were everywhere. Perhaps where he came from, they were just too afraid of the wolves they hid?
"I say, do you need a place to say. I have a lovely place and wouldn't mind." He said. "Oh! I'm Cualtzin. If I haven't stated already." He said with a nice proud voice. He was careful not to scare the wolf anymore. He didn't want to lose his new friend. Perhaps they would become life friends?

Haidar smiled. He was beginning to like this Cualtzin horse. He was very nice. His tail flicked back and forth slowly. He wasn't much for wagging his tail, but sometimes he couldn't help a quick flick here or there.
"Haidar" He said with a less nervous voice. He could see no danger in this fellow. Infact, he hoped they could be better friends. He would love to meet more like him, though the scared factor would make meeting others hard.
"Really? You wouldn't mind?" Finally, he found a place he could fit in. With his pac, he was nothing but an outcast. No one liked him. Always making fun of him. He didn't think Cualtzin would call him names. He seemed way to nice.

Cualtzin smiled. "Why would I care? You need help, so I'm helping" He stated as he gave a warm silly smile to the little wolf. Looking around again, Cualtzin thought it best to get out of there. It was getting late. Perhaps, he'd show him Tally's teepee.
"We should get back to my mates teepee. It's getting late, and she might worry." He said as he started to walk in the direction it was. Looking behind him to make sure the little wolf was coming.

Haidar was quite currious about this "mate's Teepee". Though, he wasn't sure what it was. He walked slightly slow behind Cualtzin. Peaking around him here and there to see where they were going. Ears bouncing up and down at every sound.
"Where is this 'Mate's Teepee'?" he asked. Perhaps there was something to eat there, he was quite hungry.
