I haven't had my period for about 2 months or so. And um..yea. Is this just stress pushing it aside or did the ...'you know what break?'

Pregnancy test is definatly a good idea. Check out the thread on pregnancy and that sort of thing and see if you have any of the other symptoms of pregnancy as well. Good luck.

It could definitely be stress or just plain old irregularity (women's bodies rarely run like clockwork). If you're worried about it, however, I think that the best idea is to take a pregnancy test to set your mind at ease, because pregnancy is also, unfortunately, a possibility. Good luck!

Reasons you can have a missed period:

1) Age.

2) Just starting your period / are young (irregularity is common for both).

3) Stress.

4) Travel.

5) Pregnancy.

If you're sexually active, go take a pregnancy test. If it comes out positive, take another one. If they're both positive, tell your parents and go see a doctor as soon as you can.

Couple more questions.
How much do those pills cost and the test?
What are the chances of actually being pregnant?
When will I know for sure that I am pregnant? (Will my stomach start developing and everything?)

1) Someone else made a thread about it, scroll down and check this page and the 2nd page. It will depend on what kind of birth control you get, and whether or not you can get it from Planned Parenthood (which would give it to you for free), and whether or not you can get it covered by insurance (if you have to pay for it). Obviously if it's covered or partially covered by your parents' insurance, or some other medical insurance, it's going to cost less.

2) Depends on when you ovulate, your menstruation cycle, and when you had sex. Check the pregnancy sticky for more information, and I know there's another thread in the guild somewhere that someone made about their chances of being pregnant. Look through this page and the 2nd page, I know it's somewhere.

3) Check the pregnancy thread, in one of the main posts there's a list of symptoms from beginning to end of pregnancy. Taking a test and then seeing your doctor would help you know for sure though.
Edit: When I was on the Pill, because I'd forget a pill sometimes, two symptoms I looked for were bigger breasts, breast tenderness, and nausea (morning sickness). I'm on Depo now, which is even harder to tell, but I still look for those symptoms anyways.

You're welcome. It's not too useful for symptoms in the beginning of pregnancy, but I know that bigger breasts, breast tenderness, and nausea are 3 symptoms people usually get in the beginning of a pregnancy.
If the pregnancy sticky doesn't help you, you can try looking the symptoms up online, or seeing a doctor.
