Alright, so at first, I thought Boss Rush was useless. Then I just realized; On the BES cards, where it says 'If this card battles without a counter, destroy this card during the damage step' does it mean even attacking directly? In which case, could I attack with one, summon another and attack, again and again untill I haven't any more BES Cards? Or does it only apply to attacking a monster?
In the line above this one, it says remove a counter only when battling a monster, So i'm thinking because they were specific on the line prior, that they really mean any sort of battle in the sentence which I refered to above.
Your thoughts? Am I right or not?

Ah, after reading boss rush, I noticed that you special summon the monsters at the end phase rather than when they're destroyed.

Yeah, they did that to stop just that strategy. The creators hate OTKs... except Stein apparently.

Last Messiah did any body else think about the fact that the combo really sux since they speacial summon without there tokens...that does make boss rush almost pointless But if what I was saying was correct, having no tokens would be good. You'd attack your opponents life with a BES monster that doesn't have any tokens; he gets destroyed. You summon another, attacks, destroyed, etc untill you win the game. I overlooked that: 1) Its at the end of your turn. 2) It doesn't mention that the battle that is required to destroy the monster has to be battle with a monster or any sort of attack

Probably, seeing as how Konami likes to drag things on, and the Gradius franchise has found a place in the Yugioh game. Konami is going to keep it going, untill you can have a whole fleet of Victory Vipers. XD Not that I'm complaining; I love Gradius heart

You could always toss in Skill Drain to take advantage of the Boss Rush card. This way, the B.E.S. monsters do not destroy themselves, and it will be up to your opponent to try and get rid of them. What about the no Normal Summoning issue on Boss Rush? Play Scapegoat, Reasoning, and Monster Gate.
My brother is building a deck on this whole principle, right now.

Eizan_Masahiro i'm fairly sure that battles only occur between monsters So does that mean that when it says it battles without a counter, it isn't destroyed if it attacks life points directly?
