Takoda mused at the small family of birds in the tree. It was interesting to watch them and see how good they were to each other and how the parents took such good care of their babies. The cold would come soon, so they would need to learn to fly longer and be stronger to make it south for the winter. She turned her head from the scene and decided to go for a drink. There was a river nearby and she could graze on some sweet grass and clover before the season ended and it stopped growing. She hummed to herself softly, a habit she had gotten from her father. She found it soothing and quite peaceful rather then silence. The cool wind swept her silken black mane and tail, twirling them around as she walked.

Spirit Sprite grazed by a spring a few miles away, having followed one of the many old, worn dirt paths from the teepee he shared with Tania and Valeria to this place. He loved to get out and explore, although he had few friends to share his adventures with.

Takoda travelled onward, heading for the stream she knew was a few miles ahead. It wouldn't take her long to get there if she galloped, although she enjoyed the walk, her need for water was a little more overwhelming. She quickened her pace to a steay gallop, the distance between her and the stream quickly closing. Upon reaching her destination, Takoda noticed a stallion nearby....white with orange areas that seemed to be spotted and a short mane...what an odd looking one he was. She took a drink to satisfy her thirst and headed voer towards him, eager to make a new friend if he was willing to chat a while.

Spirit Sprite's ears flick slightly at the sound of approaching hoofsteps. Raising his head from the grass, his eyes landed on Takoda. He nickers a greeting, then walks over in her direction a couple steps before stopping again. "Hi!"

Takoda smiled and greeted the stallion back. "Hello there. I am Takoda! I was hoping to make a new friend and maybe chat a bit? I don't know too many others in the land aside my parents and siblings of course." She moved in closer so she was standing right in front of him, her long black silken mane and tail just scarely touching the earth beneath her. She awaited his reply and hoped he was a bit more of a conversationalist. Maybe he was shy?

Spirit Sprite tilts his head as the mare spoke, then smiles shyly. "I'm... Spirit Sprite. I know very few others aside from two that I no longer see and my two legger and familiar. I could use a new friend as well. I'm... Not the brightest or the most interesting, but I am willing to try. It is nice to meet you, Takoda."

Ahhh so he was shy...how cute...well she'd have to try and make up for lack of converstion and find something of interest to him. "Well its nice to meet you Spirit Sprite. I could use a new friend too. It seems I never see anyone else at all anymore. Family has their own things and I have few others I know or speak to. What do you like to do? Any interests?" She tilted her ehad slightly and smiled warmly to the stallion.
