Six years ago, when Mazarith was only five years old, a band of thieves had taken over his village, causing suffering for all the Firin's.
Mazarith was tortured most, the thieves insulted him because he was different, said he was a monster, whipped him, threatened to murder him,
and tried to contain and control him to do their bidding, all because he had Lion Chakra, a rare gift that only certain Firin's obtained, but he didn''t know how to trigger it. He ran away and started practicing, day after day, using his rage, he then accessed the Lion Chakra for the on his own for the first time, that day he had turned six. With his new found power Mazarith went back to his village and let out all off his anger on the thieves. When they saw him use it they tried to control him again, and his rage built up so much that a green energy came from him, his eyes turned bright blue, claws came out of his finger tips, his teeth became sharp fangs, and he charged at them all, slashing them in half with his claws.
Mazarith turned back to normal, realizign that he'd just freed his village.
"YES!!! I did it at last!!! My village is free again!!!" he yelled joyfully "Now I'm gonna leave again, I'm gonna go learn how to control this chakra, and I think a I know just the person to teach me, Ryu Ookami."
Mazarith had seen Ryu on a mission when he was far away outside the village training to become stronger.
He took his time getting there, travelling to many other towns to get food, rest, and do some sight seeing, it took him many years to find Ryu, and finally, at the age of eleven, he found him and became his student, attempting to learn more than just control over the chakra now.
Now that Mazarith saw what he had the opportunity to learn like more fire skills, control over his Lion Chakra was the least he wanted to learn, he wanted more fire skills, to put his bloodline to good use.
To this very day Mazarith is training at the school Ryu brought him to.
