I've already organized numerous fundraisers and concerts in my school to raise money for the local AIDS center. ANd I'll put that in my sig as well.

AIDS is something that is not to be reckoned with.

Aww D: Having your bday on AIDS day. Must suck. You know, there's only one teacher that wears a ribbon on AIDS day at my school. The rest are stupid. I'm all "LOL U RULE" at her every year.

I wanted to get some kind of ribbon or something, but I think it's too late, 'cause it's Friday so I don't think I would get it in time if I order anything online and I don't know where to get something like that besides the intarwebz. But it sounds like one of those things that would be sold like. Everywhere. Like those little booths people randomly set up to sell things for certain days in random stores or something. So that's good. And it's ironic because I've just recently got into RENT, and I've fallen IN LOVE with that movie/musical. MY FAVORITE NOW. So yeah.

I had already heard about World AIDS Day, and since I don't have a ribbon or something (I wonder if my High School will be selling them or something...), I was going to leave my fingerless gloves at home and write with sharpie either something like, "Dec. 1: World AIDS Day," or "Actual Reality; Act Up; Fight AIDS!" on my hand. Yes, Rent reference. Maybe both somehow. Like there'd be room. But whatever. I WILL do something. sweatdrop This is actually strangely important to me... Although I know no one with HIV/AIDS... I just feel for these types of causes, methinks...
