I haven't posted in like.. forever, but I'm still alive! I haven't been doing much work outside my breedables shop so I haven't been compelled to post stuff lately.
I did a picture this weekend of my Guild Wars character, Calen. He's a lv 20 Ranger/Monk. His pet dune lizard is named Sobek and his minipet kuunavang dragon is named Fafnir. 3nodding

Wow, your work has really improved. If I had a complaint, it would be that the arm closest to the viewer kind of looks like a perfectly round, chubby tube.

The Iconoclast Wow, your work has really improved. Reading that from you means a lot, considering I believe the first critique you ever gave me involved the words "deformed ogre". XD
I definitely agree this picture has a lot of arm issues. I struggled with his pose a lot too and it's been pointed out how unnatural the positioning of that arm looks.
In retrospect it also bugs me that I drew him holding the arrow with the wrong hand, though technically I guess he isn't holding it to shoot.. so we can pretend that doesn't count. >.>

I love those hands- all chubby and bear-like! (bear like, really?) reminds me of the emporer's new groove. (my second favourite disney movie after Aladdin.)
I'm not so much of a fan of the face unfortunately, it doesn't seem to carry enough life as the rest of him. The eyes are actually the best part, but there's something too waxwork about the rest of the face for my liking. I guess he is standing kinda oddly but I like it, he curves with the border. Hmm..nice light, cool dragons, this must have taken a while. It seems simple but there's alot of little details I notice while I'm writing this- string on the bow, pattern on the leather, scales on the dragon. Nice job! 3nodding

Yeah I think the face is the result of this being a very new coloring style to me. I think I've got the flat sort of blended tones you find in clothes worked out pretty well, but the same type of shading doesn't quite fly with faces. >.<
