The desert sucked horribly. She had been there for so long that all of the Zoid control movements that she needed for the desert were commited to muscle memory. Although she hated the desert with the passion of a thousand hot suns, it was more familiar to her than anything else. There were no clouds in sight -likely meshed into the sky by the blazing orb that filled the area with light. The Zoid was glad to be out again, wandering the sandy area. There was nothing there that could get in its way. No trees, no ledges, no water. Aside from the occasional dune, then entire landscape was bare. Though it didn't take the time to look around to see if it was right.

Kazimori reclined in the cockpit. He pushed the controls as the zoid sped up. The Command Wolf growled with anticipation. Kazimori grinned as the Wolf's eyes glowed he knew that this was going to come down to who knew how to control their zoid. As well as who has the better bond. Kazimori smiled as the zoid and him became one. They were ready.

"All right, Liger, you ready? Let's go." Devi pushed on the controls to launch the first attack. A cannon sent a large blast at the other Zoid. The Liger seemed to have known what Devi wanted before she even did, but regardless, it sent off the attack when she told it to. After all, she was the one manning the controls. If it had really wanted to, it could have done something else. But they had the first attack, and the best thing to do was keep their distance until they knew what their enemy could do. She'd seen a Command Wolf many times before, but this one could have upgrades that she didn't know about.

The Command Wolf felt the attack hit him and then he jolted back. Sand flying up everywhere. The Command Wolf and the Kazimori didnt expect such a powerful shot first time around. Kazimori grinned and it seemed as though the Wolf knew what was coming. The Wolf shot his cannon at his opponent. As he continued forward zig zagging as he went.

With the Command Wold zig-zagging, Devi couldn't risk using the blades. It could turn and switch directions at anytime -then she would be the one in trouble. She didn't have to activate the Liger's shield to avoid the attack. It hit, but only slightly. And they still had a great distance between them. Again, the cannon erupted and sent energy flying directly at the moving Zoid. Devi had had time to aim, but with all the movement, it was possible that it would miss. Her Zoid was the faster of the two, but if she couldn't hit it, then this wouldn't turn out well at all

The Command Wolf buckled as the cannon hit him and Kazimori hopped out. "Nice Battle" he said as he stroked the the zoid.

The Shield Liger's cockpit flew open. Devi appeared from behind the controls. She leaned over the side in order to get a better look at the damage that she'd done, and the damage that had been done to her. "Would you like a tow into the next town? It's not a problem -this thing's a beast." She laughed full-heartedly. On the other hand, the Liger was not amused. It roared lightly, not appreciating being called a beast, although it really was. "Relax, relax, I was just kidding," she told it, giving a dismissive wave.

Kazimori looked at the damage, the Wolfs green paint all battle scarred. The Wolf lowered its head in shame as Kazimori continued stroking the zoid. Kazimori walked towards the man. "Why sure I could really use a mechanic mate" Kazimori said with a grin. He looked around and then a questioning look came upon his face. "Your liger is gonna tow me?"

Devi leaned over more in order to get an even better look at her own Zoid's damage. It would definitely need some repairs. The next town surely had a mechanic. If it didn't, Dragon would be able to do some minor repairs on both of the Zoids. How much it would help, she didn't know. But it was better than leaving him stranded in the desert with a damaged Zoid. "Yeah, it's good at things like that. It might get a little bumpy, though."

"Right, then." Devi closed the cockpit and attached the Command Wolf to the Shield Liger quickly. The Feline Zoid pulled harshly on the other Zoid to get moving. It wasn't incredibly hard to do it, but with the slight damages it had recieved, it wasn't as easy as it could have been. They began the long trek into the next town and toward the mechanic, so that they could get both of the Zoids repaired and back to full strength.

Kazimori popped up and down in his seat. "Lots of potholes in the desert huh" he said to himself jokingly. The Command Wolf grinned. Kazimori looked at a screen and typed in some stuff to ascess the damage. "Three moves and that guy kills me." At that the Wolf lowered its head. "Its not your fault its mine." The Wolf raised its head and howled. Kazimori joined in too.
