Here is the map the caravan has now of the land. As things progress we will have many more places to go. I know the sea has more to offer and this continent is not all there is. Also there are some wild and untamed lands fairly close to here.

More about locations on the Map

Sheulan Woods
A huge forest on the northern part of the continent. It has never been fully mapped- and so many Fortunettes have origins here. There is much magic in these woods but little in the way of inhabitants. It is a cool temperate forest with a nice climate most of the year long and a mild winter.

Mulden
A small homey town just outside of Sheulan Woods. Mulden is a mostly agricultural town known for their rich soil. Food grown from Mulden is boasted to be the best although some other farmers of the land would disagree.
Mulden grows the mundane foods that other farmers throughout the region shy from: corn, soy beans, apples, strawberries, blackberries. They also raise horses and pigs. There are rumors of an enchanted fairy orchard hidden from normal Mulden view by a magical warding. This could be true or it could be pure speculation.

Most people in Mulden are very closed minded even in a world full of magic. They are weary of strangers and very set in their ways. But they are not known for violence as their religion prohibits it more than anything. Even so, acceptance of the new and magical is also prohibited according to some people. Most people who grow up in Mulden never leave and only adventure a short distance around the town.

Even with Mulden's closed mindedness, there are a few magical beings hidden in the shadows of the town trying to discreetly turn the towns views around. These people know very well that there are many other races and magical places surrounding the world.

Aompor Plains
This place is kind of boring, really. If it weren't for the wonderful wildflowers and the plains natives it would be developed upon. But the natives prohibit such thing and have been successful with making an agreement with the local townspeople to not allow developing to happen upon their lands.

(Also, the gopherferret holes all across this region can be hell for a caravan!)

Dark Bane Island
This fairly small and secluded island houses some of the Phyleohn Seas most interesting and dark people. The native people, a small group of fishermen, have been around for many millennia. Their rather fascinating history is quickly forgotten in the face of the dark foreigners whose business is none but their own.

Dark Bane Island is the Place to go for dark and illegal artifacts, and rumor has it that quite a few treasures are buried there, since the island has always been a strategically important place for the pirates of the nearby sea.

The mortality rate there is quite high, and not many squeamish people would dare set foot on that island.

Lechybyn Marsh
Not much is known of the mysterious home of the famed marsh pirate Durriken. What is known is that Lechbyn Marsh has been the home of many a famous rogue as the people of the marsh have their own, shadow-based magic. They are not known for divulging their secrets, however, and no-one has yet to uncover even the simplest of their spells. It is said that the people are trained from a young age in magic and dexterity. For all (and there are few) accounts, they are a strange, almost bizarre people.

The few who've returned have reported that the locals live in houses made out of wood, and situated on planks - in fact, all the little houses and towns in Lechbyn Marsh are connected through planks, since the ground is too soft to be build upon.
As another note, it should be added that Lechbyn Marsh is the only place where you will be able to encounter the Living Trees, a race extinct in all the other corners of the world. The Trees are known to migrate to different areas of the marsh, come a new season. It is advised that travelers avoid the Trees, as it has not yet been established whether they are friendly towards other creatures.

Neried Isle
Neried Isle is a popular vacation spot for the rich and noble; the beautiful beaches and the exciting culture make for an interesting mix of modern and old.
The culture of the Neried people is very open, and their hospitality is legendary. The people seem to be slightly tanner than their northern cousins, and it has been speculated that Neried Isle is the origin of the traveling gypsies.
The isle lives off its tourists, travelers and anyone else - it is said that a small band of pirates frequent the local taverns.
Anyone who is anyone owns a house on Neried Isle.

Twiggle Forest
Twiggle Forest is almost uninhibited by humans, though it has been speculated that a small tribe of Indians live in the darkest recesses of said forest; however, there has never been anyone willing to travel there and prove once and for all, if they truly do exist.

Twiggle Forest is special for its many magical trees - it is said that the Tree of Eternal Youth itself reside somewhere in the forest, waiting to be found. Specifically, there is a ring of magic enhancing trees found deeper inside the forest, should someone care to go that far.

However, the Ring of Trees is protected by the local faeries, beautiful but fierce creatures - and they are not known for their willingness to share. The only mage who has succeeded in getting past them says he did so by bribing them with a magical artifact of great value and power. The artifact in question remains unknown, but the mage also divulged that the faeries are wonderful crafters and mages, but charge quite a fee.

Enallas
The people of Enallas are mostly known for their breeding of the mysterious birds Banya, whom is a favorite pet of the traveling gypsies. There are other magical creatures that come from this mostly residential town, but they've never gained the popularity of the Banyas. Other than this fact, the town seems unremarkable- made up of many different smaller towns that make up the greater Enallas township.

The Highland-Gelm Mountains
The many-ranged mountains that are populated by numerous villages and homesteads- are also the home of the Gelm. The Gelm are separated into two groups- the Lowland-Gelm, and the Highland-Gelm- different only in their locale and their livelihood. (That, and a long-standing, low-key feud that reaches back to their days of servitude under Queen Firos.) The Lowland-Gelm live at the base of and inside the mountain, mining gold, jewels, and other precious metals, while the Highland-Gelm live up in the high reaches of the mountains, tip-mining the ore that they need to produce their fine weaponry. Both groups of Gelm are traders, and look similar- squat, muscular, and the female is more powerful and sturdy than the male.

Port Tempranillo
Port Tempranillo is the largest trading port on the continent. Many, many people live in the greater Tempranillo township, or the smaller villages that surround the port but still consider themselves Tempranillians. It is too wide and too varied an area to describe with a few sentences- but suffice it to say, many of the people who you will find in the Port are traders, merchants, or those who are intent to go across the Sea to the isles- Tempranillo has the best docking yards in all the continent.

The Pythos
The Pythos River both unites and separates the continent- flowing from west to east, surrounding the Highland-Gelm Mountains from the south and the east, and dividing the continent in half. It flows into the Phyleohn Sea, and also feeds the Lechybyn Marshes. The Filor- the beautiful riverpeople- live in the Pythos as well- and are excellent traders, well-traveled, and very outgoing. It?s said that the waters where they make their family circles are the sweetest smelling waters in all the world.

Phyleohn Sea
This great sea that consumes most of the southern half of the continent is filled with many wonders- sunken ships, lost treasure, Bymiers- the cousins of the Filor- and the Sentinel Lochs. These green-backed sea monsters are not nearly as large as myth and mapmakers say- not nearly so large to consume large ships in single swallows? but certainly large enough to spur the myths in the first place. The Northern Loch has been the most oft-seen from those upon the Port Docks, protecting the northern shores from the horizon. The Southern and Western Lochs have been seen within the past ten years- but the Eastern Loch... may be either dead or extremely secretive, for none have seen it in enough time to make it a legend.
