Okay, so I have a lot of pretty odd ideas, but hey, they're just there in my mind and I think it'd be a shame if I didn't document my ideas, just in case I get lucky or something.

Okay, so originally there was only one space on my "Reeshie's Favorite Anime Guys" list that belonged to a Bleach character, and that was Captain Shunsui.
However, it would seem that by buying a small, chibi pin, another captain would wheedle his way onto said list.
So, I can't resist. I've had plans for getting a cosplay of Ichimaru Gin for some time now and then the ExLibris shop opened. One afternoon, I was sitting at my computer trying to think of what I would like the most from here (I always have high, unreachable goals xd ). First I was thinking Reeshie with one of my Catholic priests. Nah, wouldn't want to do that.
Then an OC with my idea of what the Greek God Ares should look like (If you've read P.C. Cast's Goddess series, you'd understand).
But I threw that one away too.
And it hit me. Gin! But what would the other half be?
Well the three most likely candidates would be Aizen, Matsumoto, or Kira, but I don't particularly care very much for them. But if I did an OC, what would he/she look like or even be for that matter?
So I did some research and it turned up that the Arrancars were pretty cool and didn't all have "evil" personalities. Heck, one of them even has a crush on Aizen!
And so Persephone was born. A murder victim-turned hollow-turned Arrancar, she's my second Bleach OC (Of course, the first shall never be named xd )
Now enough of my prattle.
Oh, and for those of you who might notice, yes, I was listening to Gin singing Hyouri while I was making the banners... xd

Wikipedia.org Ichimaru Gin Ichimaru is fairly ordinary in terms of clothing, and doesn't wear any unique items. However, his overall appearance is not so normal: his eyes are constantly slitted, earning him the nickname "foxface"; he is unusually thin, even for a Bleach character; and furthermore he bears unusual silver hair which in the anime has a purple tint to it (his name refers to his hair color; gin is Japanese for silver). He also keeps a wide smile most of the time, which he has only been known to wipe off on rare occasions. He has also been known to open his eyes only twice, in the flashback when he and Aizen rescued Momo Hinamori and other students from hollows (Episode 46), and during a battle with 10th Division Captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya (he also opens them during the ending theme for Episode 27 and the opening theme for Episode 91). In the anime his eyes appeared red; however it is disputed whether or not this is canon with regards to the manga since his eyes appear blue on one of the color images. Gin's eyes openAs Gin doesn't display any emotion while speaking combined with his use of sarcasm, he is distrusted by many, most notably Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Rukia Kuchiki. Rukia once commented on how she felt like snakes were wrapping around her whenever Gin spoke. He seems to be afraid of dying, as exemplified by his sudden change of expression when in danger and an earlier observation Kenpachi Zaraki makes when the two captains are speaking with Byakuya Kuchiki. Possibly for that reason, Gin has allied himself with the traitor Sōsuke Aizen and the menos. It should be noted that in the anime, Gin speaks with a distinct Osaka Dialect, which is also spoken by many rude, clumsy, or rather blunt characters in several other anime series. Wikipedia.org Arrancar The arrancar (sometimes written allankar or arankaru) are a group of hollows who have almost completely removed their masks and gained shinigami powers. This makes them a fundamental opposite to the vizard, who were originally shinigami that acquired hollow powers. Initially, only a very small number of hollows could do this, and their strength was limited. Sōsuke Aizen used the orb of distortion (hōgyoku) to create numerous new arrancar with significantly higher power levels. Arrancar and ordinary hollows differ in 2 ways: the location of their holes, and the almost-total disappearance of their masks. When hollow become arrancar, the chances of them retaining a humanoid form increase with their intelligence; only Vasto Lorde-based arrancar have a 100% chance of assuming a humanoid form. If powerful enough, an arrancar seals its power in the form of a zanpakutō. Therefore, their first release is a simple unsealing of the arrancar's true power and form. Arrancar do not have a known second release. The name arrancar, is a Spanish verb meaning "to remove" or "to rip off", hence it was used in reference to the removal of the hollow masks. In the manga, it is written 破面 (lit. rip mask), but has no native Japanese pronunciation, using the katakana for arankaru instead. The Números and Espada are under Sōsuke Aizen's command; lesser Arrancar are either assigned menial guard duties or ignored altogether. However, with the appearance of Nell and her group in recent chapters, it appears that not all arrancar are necessarily evil. In fact, Nell appeared to be terrified of shinigami as the "bad guys" but has quickly grown fond of Ichigo.

Eyes: Well... They're dark reddish-brown, but you never see them since his eyes are always almost completly closed
Hair: Silverish-white with a slight purple tint (Very slight)
Outfit: Typical black shinigami hakama, however instead of his captain's jacket, he wears the long, high-collared white robe that Aizen, Tosen, and the Arrancar under their command wear.

Of course he's evil, but he's the kind of evil guy that makes you laugh. With his odd, "ignorant" style of language and his constant smile, he gives off a really carefree personality. Almost everything's a joke to him, even fighting, as long as he knows he can't lose. But, much like a fox, when he's pushed against a wall, he loses the carefree manner along with his ever-present smile and becomes just as serious as any of the other Gotei captains. He's really a foe not to be underestimated.
He does have somewhat of a soft spot for Persephone, however she tends to exhasperate him with her constant apologies, even when whatever happens is clearly his fault.
Origin of the Name: His name refers to his hair color; gin is Japanese for silver

Personality: Obedient
At first glance, in a nutshell, obedient. She acts like Gin's personal "attack dog" and rarely forgets honorifics when speaking to him, no matter how often he tells her to call him otherwise.
As a person, she was sweet, but had a strong mind and instead of lying down and taking what was thrown at her, she would always fight back, which in the end got her killed.
As a hollow, she was at first angry and bitter over her death and later consumed the man who had taken her life away. After that, she became forlorn, not knowing what to do with eternity.
As an arrancar, she gained most of her humanly personality back, still strong of mind with everyone, except for Gin. She doesn't like hurting others, she never did, but at this point she's willing to do pretty much whatever Gin tells her to.
Origin of the Name: In Greek mythology, Persephone was the queen of the Underworld, the Kore or young maiden, and the daughter of Demeter—and Zeus, in the Olympian version.Charlie's Quote: Mmmm, toughy. I think something with very light undertones, a contrast somewhere in the entire song that it takes a while to figure out.

Apparently, Gin's rather possessive of his things. This, is... basically rather rough example of what I'm trying for. I tried doing an adult stage, but... Let's just say Reeshie does better drawings of sleepy little kits. sweatdrop
Mmmm, I drew another picture of them a little older. Not adults, I wouldn't think, but yeah.
Since I don't have it uploaded... let's just say that...
1 butterfly + 1 sleeping Persephone + 1 childish Gin + 4 forgotten claws = Nothing. But. Tears.

Only worse, if that's possible. She wants nothing more than her solitude and a nice dark place to hide out in and do whatever hobbies she keeps to herself. She's a terrible flirt with the guys, though, and she can never seem to stick by the same one for too long. Oh well, maybe she's just picky...
