Guys my friend sent me this article from Variety and it said that this season of VM is ONLY going to be 20 episodes long and if the ratings don't significantly pick up in the second half of the series our beautiful show is going to be *GULP* Cancelled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg no- they can't cancel it. I love Veronica Mars & I would be majorly pissed off if it ended so soon....or ever.Why do they always want to cancel the best shows like Buffy,Angel & Firefly...if they cancel this I will be absolutely convinced that the WB/UPN/CW have no taste at all when it comes to amazing television programs.

I love Veronica Mars & I would be majorly pissed off if it ended so soon....or ever.Why do they always want to cancel the best shows like Buffy,Angel & Firefly...if they cancel this I will be absolutely convinced that the WB/UPN/CW have no taste at all when it comes to amazing television programs. No, we were lucky that it even got picked up this season....Buffy ended because Smg didn't want to be in Buffy anymore and wanted to spend more time with her husband....Plus why would they cancel the second half if they just ordered the 7 more episodes.

What sucks the most is that a lot of people have been trying to get ratings up this season and I think the ratings have been pretty good for them. I think Dawn Ostroff's the one keeping this going, please Dawn keep it up for another season!!!!
Of course it could be time to do a season 4 campaign. A petition is good, but I think we could start thinking about something big. Like the $2 campaign the first year. *goes off to think of idea*

Then again, if they had and it had picked up a second season, then Chris Lowell probably wouldn't be on Veronica.

NO but we can all try to find out? ONe of the Veronica sites will probably have it. Lemme check...well usually they put it on the neptunesite and tell us there but they haven't posted them yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.
I know we were hoping for more viewers, but if someone just tuned in they probably didn't even realize the monumental moments they were witnessing. But still a rating is a rating.

If Ratings were higher I still have hope for a 4th season.. As far as I know..Neptunesite hasn't posted that night's ratings slot yet. Lately it's been staying still at #6. I'm freaking out majorly. A part of me really wants to see last weeks number, but then the other part of me really doesn't want to for fear that it won't be pretty.

Neptunesite doesn't have the ratings up yet from the finale and it's been over a week. I did check Ausiello though and he said that we were at a record high. Now if only we could sustain those ratings.
And I guess that Rob isn't necessarily going to do the arc thing again. I'm not sure, that's just what I've heard. Supposedly people weren't very happy with it and that new viewers didn't know what was going on. I guess the next few weeks we'll find out what's going on.
