Blazon: Vert, a serpent argent (that is, a silver serpent on a green field, hence the Slytherin colours of green and silver). The serpent device signifies the founder's gift of being a Parselmouth.
Ghost: The Bloody Baron
Location: The Slytherin common room is a low-ceilinged, dungeon-like room with greenish lamps and chairs. It is located in the dungeons under the lake.
* Entrance is a hidden door in a blank stone wall, opens by password
* A labyrinth of corridors separates this entrance from the stone staircase leading up to the Entrance Hall.
