It was a bit of a brisk morning, and Aiden had to make the rounds. He carried around a little checklist, with all of the contents of that stupid bag written down on it. Someone had left a small tote-bag in the eating area, and it was Aiden's job to find out who's it was.
The small bag didn't contain anything out-of-the-ordinary, which disappointed Aiden a bit. There were no juicy secrets, or anything interesting at all. Just some clothes, a package of playing cards, some perfume and a couple other items. It had obviously belonged to a female (or a cross-dressing male. Aiden had to make sure that it didn't belong to any of the side-shows, too.) So, Aiden was walking around, to all of the trailers, with his clipboard to list off the names of all of the items found to the women who lived in the trailers. There were things that Aiden would much rather do, but, alas, he took this upon himself as his duty.
Walking up to Ankita's trailer, he flashed his trademark smile, and knocked on the door.
"Hello?" he said, a bit too cheerfully for the morning, "I was wondering if you lost a bag!"

Ankita heard the knocking as she was in the process of grooming Sarava, who was heavily pleased to hear this disruption to the fairly painful process of picking out knots and brushing her fur to be somewhat presentable. The familiar quickly jumped out of her lap, and wandered over to the door, and Ankita followed shortly, twisting the knob slightly to let it open.
She heard the almost painfully cheery voice and winced back a little. "I... don't know, what does it look like and what's inside of it?" She cocked her head to the side.

Aiden jumped a bit at the animal. Was it some type of chipmunk or something? A mutant chipmunk, perhaps?
"Uhm, let's see," Aiden glanced down at the clipboard, "It was a pretty plain bag. It was just brown, with a black strap. In it were some clothes, dresses and skirts, mostly. Some cards. There was a bottle of perfume. Any of this belong to you?"
Aiden still could not get over the small creature. A cat? A squirrel? A rat?

Ankita raised an eyebrow. She rarely carried a bag with the exception of the small bags that held her fortune items, and she surely didn't wear dresses and skirts. Sarava had her eyes fixated on the young man, she knew that questioning look of confusion and quickly wrapped her self around Ankita's feet, tail rubbing up against one of her legs. Stop looking at me. I know I'm beautiful but I'm not one for inter-species relations.
"That.. doesn't sound very much like something I'd have. Sorry."

"Oh. Well. Uh," Aiden had severely hoped that this had belonged to her, so that he didn't have to go anywhere else. But it didn't. And he did. He decided that he would make conversation, as to avoid having to go to another girl's trailer.
"Thank you for your help, anyway," He replied, with a bit of sadness in his overly happy voice. "Is that animal yours, by the way?"
I have got to make sure that we don't have rodent problems...

Ankita nodded, making sure to not move since it would likely end up with her falling flat on her face, or stepping on Sarava.
"Yup, she's my little Sarava." she said, as Sarava began rubbing her head against her leg. "Uhm. .... who are you?" She didn't mean to be rude but the only person who ever really came knocking at her trailer door was Charlot, and he was without a doubt, no Charlot.

Aiden blinked a couple times. He hadn't introduced himself. Whoops. That was a fairly large mistake. He could've sworn that he - oh, well.
"I'm Aiden. The ringmaster," He gave a blinding smile, and extended his hand, "And you are?" So, the rat-cat-squirrel was a pet. Hmmm. Interesting. The only pets that Aiden had seen around where monkeys.

"I'm Ankita." Her answer was short and she didn't really have much intention of lengthening it out any further. Partially because it was the ringmaster, and the rest because she was under the assumption that he'd already know who she was. She clasped her hands in front of her, not knowing he had put his hand out to shake hers.

Aiden shrugged off the fact that he didn't take her hand, and put it in his pocket. He wasn't offended, but just figured that she had a problen with germs. Then, he remembered.
"Oh my," Aiden gasped, shocked, "You're Ankita! Our psychic. Of course!" And she was blind! Why didn't he remember? That would bother him for weeks now.
"Yes, yes, I remember you joining now. From what I hear, you're quite good with your readings. How is that working out for you? Giving readings, I mean."

Ankita's smile was sheepish and for a moment felt like recoiling into herself. She wasn't quite sure how to answer the question.
"Uhm... okay..." She lowered her head.

Aiden furrowed his brow. Ankita seemed extremely shy, and he wasn't quite sure what to think of it. His conversation had been shot down. If this was the way that all of his conversation starters were going to go, then he might as well go check the other trailers. But he didn't want to. At all. So, he figured that he might as well start again.
"So, what exactly is, uh," Aiden remembered the name, "Sarava? I mean, what type of animal is she? He?"

Ankita felt relieved. She really didn't feel like having to appologize for yet one of Sarava's "Call me the right name, b***h." attacks.
"She's an Aye-aye." Her smile slowly became more genuine and she snapped her fingers, which cued for Sarava to leap into her arms. Sarava cooed as Ankita pet her.

Aiden sighed from relief. At least now Ankita seemed more in her element.
"And what exactly," He decided to ask, "Is an aye-aye? I don't think I've ever heard of them before. She's quite cute, you know."

Ankita had a puzzled look on her face. In actual reality, she had never really seen an aye-aye, and really created a picture in her mind of what she believed them to look. The only real information she ever received on them was that they were bad look, and to stay far away from them due to the absolute damnation that interacting with one would ensue.
"Well... they're animals." Her facial expression could only be described as the epitomy of ditziness.

Aiden laughed at this. He found the directness of her answer quite funny.
"What do they eat? Do you need extra food for her? I'm sure I could get that for you." He thought that this was a noble thing to do. Especially since Sarava was such a cutie. Even if she was a cat-squirrel-rat thing.
