Lord Havok`

Society has been changing from the past and is now affecting the future.

Society has become lazy and unhealthy as time passes while they sit on their chairs watching TV. Someday in the future no one will go outside but have an exercise machine, which still they may not use it. With indoor schooling, computers, handheld items, fast food, and even transportation (cars) people haven't really been moving a lot.
Do you think society has become lazy?

I do feel that much of society has truthfully beome lazy. Though I will refuse to label everyone that way for the simple fact that I know not everyone is 'lazy' to that extent. Sure they enjoy sitting down for a few shows on the TV, or they may sometimes eat fast food. But just because that is what they do, doesn't classify them as lazy. It's those that refuse to do anything about their life. That would rather veggitate within their house and own security instead of going out and having a good time.

Not everyone who is on a computer 8 hours a day is unhealthy. And it is not the computer/tv's fault. Many people do get addicted to technology. I am on my computer upwards of 6 hours a day and I am very healthy but not active at all.

I think society is getting lazy. They are basically sitting down in the computer. You may be one of the people who are healthy and able to sit down on the computer/tv for many times but there are others.
It's not just TV and computers who are basically making us lazy. It's other things and devices and are isolating us from the society with other people such as gamers. Even though there are games which able people to go online and chat or bring your friends over and play. They are staying inside too much.

I maybe a gamer but I still go outside and have fun (sometimes). I consider myself lazy because I basically don't exercise. My school only does P.E. for one year and then it's a "it's your choice" to treat your body ordeal.

Yeah, many people are getting pretty darn lazy, me included.
Well, I'm lazy for half the year anyways. In the spring and fall I do sports, and then through winter is my computer time. During the summer, I might just sit around the house doing nothing, or go to a camp of some sort.
The point is, if you want to be lazy, set aside some time for it. Like during the winter, when you don't feel like getting up and moving around.
[Wow, that sounded weird. Setting aside time for laziness.]
Besides, I'm not so much lazy as procrastinating. mrgreen

Hmm... What is the reason in why you are lazy on the different seasons? Do you believe that some people are like that too?

Well, I'm lazy during different seasons because of the weather.
In the winter, I honestly don't feel like going out in the snow and doing anything. Indoor sports are much too expensive, and I don't really have many options when it comes to physical activities. And in the summer months, it gets hot. I'll go outdoors occasionally, but I usually prefer to stay indoors where it's air-conditioned.
I do sports in the fall and spring because that's when the ones I like are available. And yes, I think there's a lot of people like me.
I know plenty of them around where I live.
