The night was clear and strangely warm for this time of year. A chill breeze blew over the forest occassionally, but Lustra didn't mind. She sat by a small lake, quietly observing the stars that were visible above her head. She was somewhat deep into the forest and by the position of the moon she could tell it was fairly late, it was beginning to hide it's milky glow behind the tree tops. Lustra sighed as she counted the bright golden stars again, noting the ones she saw the night before. The lake was one of her favorite places to watch the sky.
Even in this darkness, her pelt glowed like the light of one hundred stars. She had often been compared to a star when she was younger. The moonlight only made her feel like a star in the sky as she lay in the grass by the lake.
She sighed again as she lie on her back and noticed how alone she felt. The late night, the cold wind, and the lack of company was all starting to catch up with her, and she disliked it. She could hear an owl "hooting" out in the distance, it's voice travelling far to meet with her ears. She looked over in the direction from which the noisy bird called, but did not see any life except for that of the greenery in view.

From within the forest, a loud crack echoed through the dead of the night followed by a thud as something hit the forest floor quite swiftly. It always seemed to be a specialty of one malu to completely destroy any tranquility which was presented to him. Standing tall as his chest rose and fell softly, his orbs observed the fallen yearling tree before him. Its trunk had not been any thicker than his shoulder, yet with his head alone he had managed to crack it.
Shaking out his pelt his orange and white markings took on the moon's gentle light to make them slightly illuminescent, while the glow also brought light to his one white eye on the left side of his face as well as the four deep scars running from the top of his head down to his jaw. Frowning as his head throbbed slightly, the pain was nothing for this malevolent male as he turned hoof and slowly walked towards the lake which was close. Unaware of the female making her resting place of the shore, Aion had moved his frame over to the water's edge, leanding his head down to lap at the water peacefully.

Lustra continued to stare in the direction of the hooting until a thunderous noise filled her ears. A noise like that of the God of Thunder's wrath on a rainy evening. She immediately shifted her undivided attention in the direction of what appeared to be a fallen tree. A dark figure moved around it, only some lighter markings were visible on the creature that stirred.
At first, Lustra was unsure as to whether or not this creature was a malu. It was hard to tell in this darkness, and the color of that creature's pelt added no easy way to differentiate this creature from a malu. It moved swiftly and confidently, much like some type of predator, but as it walked into the moonlight it was clearly marked as a malu. Lustra eyed the male keenly, observing his striped forlegs, white chest, and an intuiging, what seemed to be, white eye. She thought of how it resembled the moon as she got to her feet.
She approached the male slowly, hoping not to cause him distress or to be hurt herself if he was enraged. She called out somewhat quietly, "Hello there." She had a sweet but tricky tone to her voice. Like that of a lovely, yearning siren. "Was it you that just downed that tree?" SHe inquired, feeling asking a male about himself was the easiest way to gain acceptance and attention. It was quite a coincidence to meet him this late at such a remote area of the land.

As the soft crunch of the sand floated in the calm air of the night, Aion's ears rose before his head followed suit. Tilting his head fully towards the noise as his other orange orb came into view, he was finally able to see who was approaching him. A female, brilliantly coloured as her cream and orange markings glittered like the stars above with black markings on her hip and tail was the culprit. A scarred brow raised slightly as she spoke, her voice airy and light as she inquired to his test of strength.
"Yes...that was I. I did not expect anyone to be around to hear it, however." His answer was plain, yet was spoken with his deep, yet smooth like silk vocals. Inspecting her up and down as such shyness eluded this male, his voice once again rose as he in turned asked her a question. "What are you doing out here this late in the evening? It is not often I have company out here."

She opened and closed her cerulean eyes as he spoke, she took in his voice making note of every syllable and his tone. He not only looked strong, but he sounded that way too. But his voice did not overtake the mood of the conversation, the conversation was still somewhat somber and mellow, even with a bellowous, deep voice returning her words.
She cocked her head to one side as she responded slowly, looking to the sky through her first few words. "I am a follower of celestial things. Stars mainly, but I also look to the ngiht sky in general for my guidance. Goddess of Stars, you see I'm sure, is who I follow." She walked closer to him, feeling he was of little threat to her by his voice and the way he positioned himself at the shore. "I will often travel to areas in the quiet where there is a clearing where I can inspect the sky alone and reflect." She continued moving closer to him, feeling drawn to his mysterious aura and dark countenance. She gave him a sly smile, "May I request your name, my shadowed male?" She only stopped approaching him as she was a pace or two away from him, she didn't want to seem too forward in her movements toward him. "Or will you keep that information shadowed from the starlight, as well?"

Keeping his sight on the female which remained before him, he observed her behaviorisms as she moved her body ever so slightly comparing to certian things he said. It was in a sense fascinating, yet also rather annoying that he wasn't able to tell what was going on behind those cerulean orbs.
"Stars? Hmn. One of the few things even I enjoy." Aion commented absently, his voice holding the same dull tone he always held when he was not angered of feeling particularily hostile. Blinking lightly at her approach, as slow and careful as it was, a smirk couldn't be hidden as it spread over hips lips. It amused him endlessly when he was confronted with those whom had confidence, as it was simply too boring to interract with spineless twits. "I thought about it, yet no. There is no harm in letting you know my name. It's Aion. Your turn..." He mused, cocking his own head ever so slightly to the side.

She blinked slowly as he spoke, a soft expression constantly plastered on her face. She felt that he had a more down to earth and loving side, the side that liked the stars, while on the other hand he had a dangerous and lustful side, the side that broke the tree. She was intruiged by this and wanted to know more, to get to know this... Aion, better.
She continued walking toward Aion, tilting her head to the side and closing her eyes for just a moment. "Aion. Aion. It's a name fit for a king." A sly grin crept over her face as she folded her wings neatly across her back. She wanted to get on the good side of this mysterious malu, she wanted more to do with him and his life, atleast for now. "I am Lustra." She stopped walking and bowed her head, now only a pace or so away from him, "You may call me Lusty, if you desire." She turned and walked to the bank of the lake, flicking her tail playfully as she leaned her head down for a quick drink, quickly eyeing the reflection of the stars in the water. When she had finished drinking, she walked over to him, not stopping until she was at his side. She rubbed against him gently, and even at that she could feel his sides rising and falling as he breathed as well as a muscular back and legs. She turned her head to look and speak to him, "So, Aion..." She spoke gently, hoping to evoke some emotion other than indifference from the dark malu, "Where do you live? What pack are you part of?"

With his present devious smirk evoking his lips, his single orange orb followed her every move; studying, observing, debating. Dealing with only three females in his lifespan, each were interestingly different from one another. Nikalee, the innocent angel of his youth, Elu the firey female to whom birthed his offspring...and now Lustra. Her name spoke for itself. She was one of peace, yet held such a tempting spark in her eyes it was hard not to find himself enthralled by her every move.
"Lustra...quite a symbolic name." Aion allowed her name to roll off his tongue, playing with his dark vocals. Cocking his head to the side as she returned from her drink and slid her body against his; skin tingled with the silk like attribute of her body against his own. Oh how this etheral maluess enthralled the demons of lust which lingered from the grasps of a god known to him. "I do not live in one set place, my shrine however resides in the sublevels of the nearby temple. I am a part of no pack, my god does not require such company and treasures solitude." With the thoughts of his own god entering his ming, his features took a sinister turn, the warmth of his god's touch enticing his heatbeats. Shifting his gaze down to meet with her cerulean orbs, he slowly inclined his own question. "I assume, like the stars above you folllow in groups?

She gave him a very serious look, as if to ask him something without words. Wandering malu were often dangerous, she thought to herself, keeping all this confined within the cages of her mind. But wandering malu were often more adventurous and more daring. Malu who are often in solitude, though, do tend to have needs, she thought to herself, grinning again.
She stayed silent and tried to find out what tone his voice had that made her suspicious of him, or not suspicious. More interested and inclined to be interested. She wasn't sure what she was looking for as she walked around him and looked him over. Maybe a sign, some type of brand as to why he spends his days in solitude, what his God may be. She had only heard of those malu with dark enough hearts that when they pledge their alliance with a God they scare themselves permanently.
"Yes, I am part of the Nature Pack." She pondred as to what his God was. "I am just a star in my pack, my galaxy." She finished her sentence as she returned to her previous spot. "I am assuming you have no family? No one that means anything to you? You did say your god treasures solitude and that you weren't part of a pack... I'm only trying to piece you together.. Aion." She said his name again, a low and quiet tone this time, trying to peak his interest in what she was saying. Normally it worked well with males.

Slowly his single orange orb followed this femme's move as she sauntered around his body, ever inspecting, ever calculating. It seemed as if a lot was running through her mind, words he would never hear unless they escaped from her tempting vocals. Lifting his head a little higher, his wings have a flutter before folding and resting upon his back; dissapearing in his ebony fur.
As her delicious vocals began to silence as she became quiet, his ears in turn perked to catch the last of her statement...one which hit close. Instantly thinking back to Elu in the nest with their four pups, Aion's mind twisted and turned with what to do with this secret information. He could confess he was with a demi-mate, and also had sired offspring....or he could tell a little white lie. The latter seemed more pleasing to his god's current excited state.
Smirking, he took a few steps forewards to rub his body against her's as he paused and nibbled lightly at the back of her neck. "You do glimmer like the stars....and no. There has not been one to tame me as of yet." The ball was set, now in favor of Aion and his not so little white lie. Yet for now, all he desired to do was learn more about this desireable Maluess, find exactly what makes her tick.

She squirmed slightly as he nipped on her neck. She turned her thoughts back to what she was thinking about earlier - the dangerous and lustful versus loving and down to earth side. Was the former showing through? She giggled slightly and he let go of her pelt, then feeling his warm body, again, against hers. She carefully watched him as he moved, smiling at him with confidence, she felt as if he were in her paw. As if she had some type of control over him, but she couldn't be making such assumptions so early, she still had much to learn about Aion before she did anything tricky. Being naive was not something she wanted to do.
She tilted her head again as he responded, she was surprised that he had not mated with another malu, but she kept a very indifferent expression. On the inside she laughing, almost cackling at how he was doing, acting, responding as she believed he would. She thought of what he said regarding females, with his build, color, attitude... mysteriousness, one would think he had been followed many a time and most likely followed the femme back atleast a little. Being the first tomget under his skin would be very nice for her. It was something she would enjoy very much.
"And how hard are you to tame?" She moved slowly and moved so that she was standing with her chest against his, her face lifted to his, as if she were challenging him. "Or is it that you have not had a trainer?" She started this little game with him. "Hmm?" She kept her face very plain, she could already tell Aion was not an unintelligent malu and would quickly catch on if she flinched. She stared into both his eyes, his orange one seeming to show a life of interest, a life of love and, atleast a little, happiness and his white one showing despair, loneliness, and rage.

A dark chuckle seeped from his vocals, carrying slightly on the breeze as she moved chest to chest with him. Focusing on her his ears tilted back slightly to give the male a more devious demeanor, debating her question inwardly. It was mostly true, as the closest one to have come close to taming his soul was Nikalee untill she betrayed his trust. Elu had become close to passing her...yet something just wouldn't settle in his soul much like a malignant cancer. Yet pressing those issues aside, his attention once again fell on the temptress of a femme before him, close enough to breathe in her crisp pine scent.
"If you must pry, I would suppose it to be a bit of both. If I told you...it would just ruin all of my fun, now wouldn't it?" He breathed, leanding his head foreward in a motion of dominance as he touched their noses, waiting to see if she would indeed back off or stand her ground. Even the male was unaware if he was truly under her lustrious spell...or if it was infact his God's influence gaining the upper paw.
Despite it all....he embelished in the burning sensation in his muscles, a sign he was pleasing his god. Very much so, indeed.

She closed her eyes slightly, so they were more like slits than their normal wide eyed expression. As he pressed his nose to hers, she could feel his warm breathing on her muzzle and she tried to stand taller. She didn't want to seem weak, she wasn't weak. Her heart was pounding in her chest, she could barely contain what she felt about this malu, he was strong and firm yet had a gentle side. She pushed back on his nose a little.
"I do pry, Aion. Everything that can happen in the dark is seen by the stars, don't deny me my right to know what happens in my domain, my time." She pulled her face away from him for a moment and licked his nose, quickly putting her nose back against his, pushing a little harder now. Her eyes were now wide open again. Her move was more of a test to see how he would react to some spontaneous actions. As she stood there, nose to nose with the strong, dark Aion she glanced up at the sky, seeing the stars twinkling above her head and feeling more confident, feeling more emotions kicking in. She walked forward, another step, pressing ever harder against his nose. "You can't keep me from knowing what is happening behind your eyes, can you?" She blinked as she finished speaking, her voice rang with a slight chirp-like tone.
She hoped that her actions thus far would finally bring this malu to his knees, like she had done before, when she was younger. She thought of that young green malu, the male that would do anything after spending only one night under her spell. She smiled widely, not that Aion could tell with the extreme angle their faces were currently positioned in.

Lustra was a confident one, Aion had to give her that. Pressing her nose firmly against his, the grin posessing his lips grew as his single good eye never left her own cerulean ones. However, when the moment came that he felt her tongue on his nose Aion's brow rose quite quickly....how random. Frowing for a moment, his mind had to process wether or not he should have been disgusted, angry, or even seduced by such an act. However, what came next was something even he wasn't expecting.
On odd sensation took over his heart as he could feel the excited lust rise in his veins....it seemed when provoked, the broody male had quite the few personalities behind his eyes. "You are mistaken, crude temptress, what happens what the ebony clouds shroud the stars vision of the earth below? Then all who play in the darkness are blind to the stars perspective. So....I can keep you guessing all night long...Lustra."
Pressing his nose back against her's almost roughly, he attempted to disorient her for a split second; it was all he needed before he tilted his nose away from hers and captured the femme with his lips. Smirking in the lip-lock, Aion surely was never one to fall on his knees...as this male wouldn't bow to Death itself and would stand untill the bitter end. However, his rational self which cried out at how wrong this was, and much so unlike him was pushed to the back of his mind to yell about how he truly felt in his heart to deaf ears. Lustra was perfectly able to seduce this side of him to reign confidently, despire how the kiss seemed unsettling in his heart; it didn't show in his actions.

Had he refered to her as a cruel temptress? She eyed him slyly, as if he were seeing through her shell slightly. She needed to up her defenses some. Aion was one sharp guy. He was right about the clouds blocking the sight of stars, but she still had an urge to pry.
Even with her somewhat experimental actions only moments before, the kiss that he induced was not what she expected or thought would ever happen. As her body fell slightly and then touched the lips of the dark male, she was shocked. Soon, though, she closed her eyes completely, letting herself go into the kiss, leaning forward and standing on her back legs slightly to make herself a little more level with the brute that seemed to be seducing her now. She remained in the kiss, enjoying it even. But was she the one with power here? Or was he really the one with control? These thoughts lingered through the kiss, only subsiding as she gently pulled away from him and returned to her previous more relaxed stance, only now thier noses were not touching. Was she the one being tamed here?
"And.. what was that?" She smiled slyly, holding back from telling him what she actually felt about that liplock. She had pulled away from the kiss, but not in a way that said "stop," more in a way that said "what are you trying to pull?" She moved her neck and placed her head on his shoulder. She could hear his breathing but not his heartbeat. "And don't expect me to believe that the stars can't see this one. The sky is clear, and I am here, my King." She returned her voice to it's preivous flattering tone, and used words that complimented her tone. She looked up at him for a moment as she finished her sentence and then put her head back on his shoulder, it was time to act a bit more shy and try a different route into the mind of this malu.
