May 6th of 05 - Just got back from a concert of Marilyn Maye, and I'm in good spirits also for finding long lost journals about Kizzy. 3nodding Updates with that and now there's a little post about me.
April 1st of 05 - Finally got my butt around to doing things in this diary journal record thing. sweatdrop Just as my rabbit Cherry plopped her butt down to sleep instead of chew on the furnature. She's so cute and lumpy! But this is about sexy and spikey, so on with the journal!

-Kizzy- This is Kizzy. My cactus...erm...daughter. I was exstatic the first time I saw her. Unlike all the rest of the Fae, who were on display before getting a parent, this little orange one was a surprise. As Toshi put it: OMGWTFCACTUS!!!! eek I picked her name before I got her though. I was give knowledge that she was a Fire Fae and a troubled child, like Absalom. ninja So after a few hours of looking about for names I finally chose on the Hebrew word for cinnamon. I think it suits her quite nicely. Kizzy is a sharp little girl, in more ways than one. She's also loud, once again, in more ways than one.

-Stages- Seedling - Here is Kizzy as a bitty baby seedling, when she was first given to me. whee She's so cuddly! Holding her directly was definately out of the question, so I planted her in a wonderfully laquered black pot with a red squiggle trim. Detailed oriented! 3nodding On a trip out in the trusty ol' wagon: Something odd is happening to Kizzy! The crystal begins to shine brightly, a strange heat appears in the air. Soon after... What's happening!? The crystal shines even more brightly! A heavy warmth radiates from the young seedling. Hot summer air whips along the skin in a blast of heat. And then... The crystal! The heat has become unbearable, deluding one's senses! Waves of hot desert air beat against the skin, and the crystal seems to be melting! *POP!* (Okay, so she didn't go pop, it was a series of dots.... but she could have! If she were corn based perhaps...)  Toddler - Kizzers is fully mobile now, the world will never safe again. She's a babbler, a screamer, and to be vulgar about it, an attention whore. Starting to get a little full of herself, with help from Xue-Lien's praise, and rather attached to Absalom and his quiet, different nature. Child - Much more developed than the other children, Kizzy's quite the looker, but rather mischevious somewhere on the inside...and outside... sweatdrop Not long after growing up Kizzy and the rest of the Fae scrambled off into the forest. sweatdrop But that's a whole other story.

Kizzy's Phase I Information:
Speech: An extreme loud, seemingly irrational child. She has a habit of screaming nonsensical sounds constantly. When she doesn't receive attention, she throws tantrums, screaming and crying for long periods. Her wakings in the morning are announced by loud wailing.
Appearance: Strangely, this fae child possesses no wings. Instead, her back is lined with large, cactus-like spines which are as solid as bone. Similar smaller spines run along her arms, legs, and the top of her head.
Abnormalities: The spines are very troublesome in regards to movement. She is prone to knocking over brittle furniture or any objects in her way. If she does not wish to be touched or comforted, she can throw up her arms or roll into a way which exposes only her back, causing an impenetrable defense of sharp spines to ward off others. This is a common technique when she is in a tantrum.
Behavior: A mostly happy and loud child. However, Kizzy is prone to mood changes. The most drastic is screaming when she feels she is not receiving appropriate attention. When she falls into a bad tantrum, she forces others to endure the length of crying. If bad enough, she acknowledges that her spines can be used as weapons and begins destroying objects.
*****Kizzy's Phase II Information:
Speech: Kizzy is capable of speaking real words at this point, though she's still prone to bouts of squeeling and incoherent screaming. She calls her guardian "Mommy" and spends a lot of time trying to drawing her attention. She's developed somewhat of a street accent with her speech as well (for example, rather than saying "you," she would say "ya" and "dat" would be used in place of "that").
Appearance: The spines along her arms seem to remain their same size while the spines along her back have grown with time. The spines that were once on her legs have disappeared, replaced by strange tattoo-like markings. ...Do the markings somehow remind you of Absalom?
Abnormalities: Kizzy's body seems more mature than the other children's, for some reason...
Behavior: Although Kizzy has grown considerably, she is still very childish in many ways. She whines and throws fits if she doesn't get what she wants. Also, she's developed a love for playing pranks on others, enjoying the reactions of her victims. Though her child vocabulary is somewhat limited, she enjoys teasing and making fun of other children.

-Relationships- Absalom - Kizzy's quite drawn to Absalom's quiet and abrasive nature. Not so sure that Absalom feels much for her. sweatdrop Kizzy currently has in her possesion a picture of him that she drew and tends to keep it quite close to her person. Kapono - Kapono was the first Fae that Kizzy ever saw hatch erm...yeah, hatch! She's taken quite a shine to his sharp pointy pine hair and he reminds her of Shin. She's once again becoming a pancake pusher. <.< She's a loose woman and a drug dealer. ;-; Where did I go wrong? She also is under the impression that he can change the weather. Linnea - Kizzy's first Fae aquaintence. While I scoffed down much needed food at the Teahouse, Kizzy-the-seedling tried to poke at Linnea-the-seedling's petals. She hasn't seen much of her since. Nekura - Kizzy was in the room with him back when he was a happy little thing once. Now, much more resentful, he lives in the Inn along with us under the care of Cordy. Nekura ripped and then repaired a picture Kizzy drew for him, but she's not quite up to forgiving him yet. Seriva - Kizzy recently became aquainted with Seriva when she came to the Inn needing help for her ailing mother. Kizzy was more interested in the blood on the other Fae. sweatdrop (How many more of these faces am I going to need?) Shin Daiko - Kizzy struck up a conversation with him on the way back from the forest episode of terror. Interested in leafy Fae it seems, (That or just boys, sweatdrop ) She seemed quite friendly with him, but she's driven by her lust for pancakes quite often, so perhaps it was just a ploy to get fresh berries. ninja Sylvia - Originally mistaken for edible berries, Kizzy extended a play date offer for the little seedling if she happened to turn out to be a fellow follower of the Cake of Pan cult. Varia - Kizzy has yet to meet Varia. Xue-Lien - Kizzers has met Xue a few times. Though she intensly dislikes the perkiness of the silver girl, Kizzy loves the fact that whenever Xue is near there are immense compliments for her.
