Hey everyone, this is my first topic in the guild. biggrin I have Six months to make three cosplays, which is ample time for me, but I just don't know what to cosplay as!

I'm 6'1", Male, have brown hair and eyes, and I'm very slender.

I'm looking for three fun cosplays, but due to my personality, I would like the cosplays to be somewhat... Flattering? I have a good idea of two people I want to cosplay, but I would love all input, just to help me have a plethura of options!

My first idea was to do a cosplay of Angel from X-men. I could easily dye my hair blonde for this, and pull it off well. However, I would probably do a more movie-ized version of his uniform, with the sleek black ribbed leather.

My next idea would be to do Haseo from .Hack//G.U. I think it would be really cool to do the tattos, and have all the belts and such. 3nodding

So I come to the brilliant minds of this guild, to see if you all had any other idea's as to whom I could cosplay as. heart

Ok, Im going to guess thats your pic in your sig so here is what I suggest.

Don't dye your hair. Its horrible and you wont be able to go back to your normal hair color in months. Unless you get the wash out kind that is good until water hits it, thats when your colors will go away and ruin everything so I highly suggest using a wig.

If you are doing Angel, you can buy the boots and gloves but you will have to make the suit. The wings can be made with either feathers, wonderflex, foam,etc but it will need support underneath (ducktape, wirehangers,etc)

Haeso you will have to style the wig. If possible, find black belts and buckles to go around but I would just make them out of vinyl or pleather so it can adjust to your body easy. Haeso's weapons can be made out of wonderflex or paper mache. The rest of his outfit will probably be made in pleather or black vinyl.

boots you might have to make out of scrach with red trim.

Looking at his picture, orginization XIII came to my mind first too. Like demerx or Axel if he gets a wig...and can make the props and lay the part. they both have such great tag lines!

However, tall and slender, and wants to show off... take a look at Takanaka or Ranmaru from the Wall flower manga...especialy in the haunted house issue and the issue where they were in the photo shoot. Also, KH2 theirs Seifer with the belly shirt of his ::nose wrinkles:: hmmm who else... if you dont mind wigs you could always o a gravitation cosplay and make the yaoi fans happy.... I guess it all comes down to if your willing to do wigs.... heart

i think that you should try to throw a cat guy in there somewhere even if it's not onw of your main day costumes it could at least be your "rave costume". BUT don't be cheesy about this so all out and make it look really punk. cat guys are hot and there are never enough of them at cons IMHO. here is one pic i found of one that i really liked

Oh my geeze kidds, I've yet to be satisfied with my Haseo cosplayers, so I'd be ever so grateful if you did that.

Tres Iqus from Trinity Blood. (front - brown hair/gun)
Van from GunxSword would be satisfactory.

i think that you should try to throw a cat guy in there somewhere even if it's not onw of your main day costumes it could at least be your "rave costume". BUT don't be cheesy about this so all out and make it look really punk. cat guys are hot and there are never enough of them at cons IMHO. here is one pic i found of one that i really liked
