XD I get alot of my merchandise from eBay... eBay ******** rocks.

And, if you want to support the artists while purchasing stuff... I suggest:

cdjapan.co.jp

yesasia.com

But of course, on eBay theres alot of bootlegs from Taiwanese Companies.

The Bad thing about Amazon, Ebay and YesAsia is they all sell bootlegs. You need to be real careful about buying from those places. Chinese and Thai companies produce MILLIONS of bootlegs and sell them on places like that. Most of them are really well produced and can be VERY hard to tell the difference from the real thing. Always look over the pictures very well. Check the record label that it says it from on the picture and make sure it matches with the artists label. MIYA is a big company that produces bootlegs and it will say right on the CD/DVD that it's from MIYA. They synonymous with Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois and Gackt bootlegs. I've boughten a few from them by accident. D: Just be careful guys. It may be cheaper but it's the same as stealing and downloading off the internet.
ALWAYS try and contribute to the artists. Don't give the bootleg companies money to produce more of these bootlegs.

Over in China and Taiwan there aren't copyright laws so they do it freely and willingly. They make bootlegs of anything they can to make money. :/

Just be more knowledgeable before you buy anything online. You'll be happier in the end when you own an ACTUAL jrock CD or DVD. :]

the only way I can get my merch is if it's conviniently at Hot Topic or something like that, or Anime conventions (and I have to wait an entire year for that to come around)

The main reason for that is this:

It's expensive to be a fan crying
