i was just wanted to know what peoples opinions were on the newest Halo novel: Ghost of Onyx. i thought it was pretty good though at times i got a little confused.

WildMercenary My friend says its not about MC, but about the other spartans yep ypur freind is right it does not talk about MC fighting the covenet on earth or the 2nd Halo. whih kind of disapoited me -_-

Shadow_xz19 WildMercenary My friend says its not about MC, but about the other spartans yep ypur freind is right it does not talk about MC fighting the covenet on earth or the 2nd Halo. whih kind of disapoited me -_- Yeah only puts down bits and tiny pieces left out during the Delta Halo (Halo 2) Part. I swear the book has some grammars problems a bit like repeated words... had had... It's good at least until to the depressing ending manner in which it took off.

i was actully hoping to here about what happened on earth during the covenant attack and pretty much what was happening during the fighting. short of like what they did in the secound halo novel Halo: the flood

on of the things that i'd like to have straightend out is that in First Strike, Whitcomb arms the Nova bombs to blow 20 hours after they leave reach. that is sometime in late September. then, the date of the chapter in GoO where the Nova bomb goes off, is dated November First. .... that's not 20 hours. i'd like to think the Crystal has something to do with it, but i don't see in what way it's manipulating the Nova bomb. and if it is, then why? it changed time for MC when cortana made the jump from alpha halo to Reach, but why the Nova bomb?

you know they make a reference in the book saying something about a shield and sword i wonder if it has anything to do with the Halo 3 tralier

Shadow_xz19 you know they make a reference in the book saying something about a shield and sword i wonder if it has anything to do with the Halo 3 tralier it could cortana says she is MC's shield and sword. it could mean that she is the key, or weapons and defense for the rightful reclaimer (MC) or that she is some how part of the either the shield, if MC resues her and she can help stop the halo's from inside the Ark, but if the Gravemind is still controling her he....oh.... won't use her to activate the halo's and kill himself... never mind. i'll say something when i have this in a better worded bit.

i think that the profets new what the ring could do but they activated halo only to enter the shield world. in a way that is the great journey. owever i cant say for sure that is what they are planing

INightbringerI i cant find this book! where are you guys getting it i had trouble finding it to. its not under graphic novels it was under paper backs or something of the short. and its not the same size as the other ones.
