Things to try

Games:Games are one thing you can do to get gold. Games such as slots need tokens, you can buy them for cheap in the gaian marketplace. With slots, you get tickets which you can trade in for items at the store "Prize and Joy" Ahhh...gaian fishing is the best, you start off with a basic rod. The whole point is to catch fish by keeping them between the lines or that fish will be the one that got away. You can sell your fish for gold, make clothing, and even compete against other users to see who can catch the most fish (and junk)for a trophy. This game is kinda like slots, you have to buy bait and stuff like that. Gaian jigsaw is a cool game to play, you just do a jigsaw puzzle. I recomend doing the ones with lotsa pieces to get the most gold outta there. I also recomend chatting or something while doing puzzles to keep you from getting bored. I kinda don't understand the cards game thing... Well, the last game (one of my favorites) is word bump. It is kinda easy to understand and play if you know lotsa vocabulary, you have three gold boxes with a letter you may use to spell words. You create words with the letters until you get all three to the top. You can't let any of the gold letters go past the last row or it is game over. you can get credits which you can trade Edmund at H.R. Westly, you can also get gold.


Posting/polls/profile comments: These are easy...you can simply post and get gold on a form (Like what I am doing now) Polls are simple, just vote...Commenting in profiles is fun, all you do is post kinda like the posting on forms.

PM's: PM means private message, you send these kinda like E-mails. You get gold outta this, Don't spam or send chain messages or you will get banned.

Surfing gaia: No need to tell you...

Daily chance: You get free items that you can sell...

Opening a shop: You need 1k to open a shop, you can sell items for gold to other gaians.

Charities: Charites are where gaians can beg or post for gold. There are many nice people willing to lend a hand to you.

You can try all these things and others such as doing things on the gaian tour and random events.

Here's another helpful hint that's also helpful in real life.

Build a 'bumper' stash before you buy anything. If you have a bumper, you won't be dirt floor poor when you go to buy what you want. You'll have some left over. I usually have a bumper of 500 g. I don't buy anything unless I know I will have 500 g left over. Every time you buy something, make your bumper go up by at least 50 g. I do 150 g. Pretty soon, it will be over 1000 and you can use a bumper of 500 and still have 500 for your next quest.

My Bumper is 4k...but I cheated myself xD..down to1k
