It's dinnertime! You've spent four days on vacation already and have yet to eat at the hotel's restaurant - and probably for good reason, too. Young kids + formal restaurant = madness, right? Wrong! This place is very relaxed. The tables are covered in paper tablecloth and crayons are provided for everyone's enjoyment. As it turns out, everyone arrives around the same time, and though everyone might not have come together, the restaurant staff have assumed that you are and have arranged for a private room for the group. Someone should assume the role of the waiter, or the role can be tossed around casually. What matters is how the characters react to being pushed together for a meal, and how things unfold! The menu is as follows: Appetizers:

"Come. ON." Putting her weight into it, Quinn managed to pull Sevan into the restaurant, despite her many-winged attempt to go the opposite direction. It wasn't that she was a bad child, merely easily distracted and the decor in the front window of the store opposite the restaurant had caught her attention. Sensations chittered at Quinn, his valiant attempt to make her relinquish his soul-sister falling on deaf ears. She had barely made it in the door and already Quinn was ready to head home.

Therefore, it just might have been reassuring to Quinny to spot another woman toting a child-and-animal duo as well. The petite brunette had already made it into the restaurant and was waiting at the maitre d's station for a table. A few bags rested at her feet, evidence of a shopping trip. The child, a toddler-sized boy sporting unusual clothing and a horse's tail, busily poked at a potted plant nearby. What appeared to be a lioness padded over to him and peered over his shoulder. Obligingly, he pulled a leaf from the plant and turned to show her. "C'rage, flower," he explained.
Cressida sighed and crouched, arms out for the two. "Quixana, darling, don't pull things off other people's trees. Come here," she asked sweetly. "Mommy is trying to get us a table."
"Food?" Quixana patted his stomach and beamed. "Belly!"
That prompted a laugh and Cressida tugged the child into her arms, cuddling him as she stood. Turning slightly, she spotted Quinny. "Oh! Hello." She took in the child and attendant creature with a growing smile. "You have a little bookworm, too?"

Fray leaned tiredly against Raya’s back with Lavender perched grouchily on his head. He had been exhausted from the day’s activities and had a very low stamina after spending a hot day in the sun, especially because he insisted to keep his scarf on despite the sweltering temperature. The child, with his whistle practically glued to his lips, was gently snoozing against his Guardian’s back.
“Can I get a booster chair, sir?” Raya called to the waiter, who nodded with a smile. Lavender nipped the back of Raya’s neck irritably, obviously wanting to keep anyone quiet so Fray could continue his sleep. “Oh, shush, Lav,” Raya growled. She quickly turned her attention to Quinny and Cressida.
“Hello!” She greeted, slightly out of breath. “Vacation’s a little more exhausting with a Forgotten, huh?” Raya chuckled to herself as she sat down at the large table.

Glancing in the direction of Raya, Cressida laughed and nodded. Quixana bundled in her arms prevented her from moving towards the table so she gently lowered the little boy down to the ground again and took him by the hand. "Okay, darling. I think we'll just sit over there. You can make new friends."
With her free hand, she gathered the bags. Courage attempted to help by nudging them closer to her and she smiled sweetly at the lioness. "What a good girl," she murmured. Straightening, she shared the smile with Quinny behind her. "She's got a big enough table. Let's all join in, sit together, and get to know one another."
Rather hoping the other woman would follow, Cressida beelined for Raya, Fray, and Lavender.

Quinn shot the other women a strained smile, still struggling with Sevan and her leash. "Sit together. Sure. If I can ever get out of the doorway." Turning her attention back to her flight-risk of a daughter, she pleaded, "Come on, Sev. There's food and everything. Sen, give a girl a hand, huh? Convince her... There's some cheese in it for you!"
The mouse, who had been trying so hard to ignore the tall and oppressive woman, turned towards her, a look of genuine interest on his furry face. An ear scratch and a nose twitch later, he was on Sevan's head, peering down at her and pleading for her to turn around.
Reluctantly, Sevan took a last gaze at the sparklies in the window and turned course, comming to float about her mother's twitching ears. "Lead the way," Quinn instructed the waiter. "We won't be needing a child seat. She won't sit in it anyway. Just something I can tether her to, will be fine."
