Where was he? Akiiki peered around himself in utter shock and horror. The world seemed so dark and without hope at all. Bones were scattered around everywhere though not too drasticaly that you'd think you were in a graveyard. Everything was scaring him.

One moment Akiiki had been with his father out on the savannah and then suddenly a shadow had overtaken him and he was left out here. All the song had died on his muzzle and the little white and violet cub blinked in confusion and fear.

"H-hullo?" Akiiki called out in a squeaky voice, unsure if the bones would answer him or not.

Padding on paws so soft white that it looked like he'd never even seen dirt in his life, a bone stabbed into his paw and Akiiki yelped so loudly that it was almost unanimal like and fell over on his side. Using his teeth to pull it from the sensitve pad of his paw, a growl leapt from the seer cub and he frowned at his surroundings. Not only did he not like them but he couldn't tell up from down or in from out.

How was he supposed to get home now?

The future King stepped through the graveyard. his father was going to ntrust everything to him. The bounce in his step had quickened until he stepped in a permanent prance. These were his lands and completely his. The bones were everything he knew out side of the cuhy pridelands where his horror had ended. Duhushi was just hppy to be alive and well. His mind raced with the thought of his mate and the cubs that were now causing a drop in her stomach.

So wonderful...

Suddenly, a soft voice caught his ear. Even with purple pelt, the male could easily find a hiding spot. His lanky body pressed against the side of an enormous tusk as he sniffed the air. Purple paws were silent as he slipped up and into the remains of a flank. The holes in the fragile bone showed him the lavender and white coat. A cub! A grin spread his maw.

"Who dares enter the resting spot of our dead?"

Aw crap.

That was just what Akiiki needed too, was a voice to call out to him over the dead bones of so many elephants and other herd creatures. Especially since he knew he had powers he couldn't control, if this was another one of them then he wanted out right now. Was it a bone? Was it a being?

Either way the white and violet demi-god knew that the answer wouldn't present itself until he took the initiative to speak up himself. So with a gruff cough and a puffed breath of air, Akiiki drew himself up to his rather tremendously large height, for a cub, and looked around.

"One that knows not where he goes." Came Akiiki's gruff response, his grey eyes turning stony for a moment before the heat of his own cub-like innocence melted the stone he set there.

Duhushi pressed himself closer against the bone. This cub was certainly interesting in it'ss own way. The bones were already a frightning place and hearing the voices of the 'dead' probably weren't helping the little boy. The grin on his maw widened until his fangs were bared and glinted in the greenish hued mist.

"Lost are we?"

The rather meek voice echoed through the valley, giving it a deathly quality. His grin faded slowly as he blew on the mist, making the bright green twist and turn around him like the arms of a great octopus. Twirls began spilling over the side of the bone in a waterfall. Purple paws scratched at the white flakes of bone with a hard, scraping sound. He wasn't intimidating by himself. Her certainly wasn't the louddest lion but her surely made up for it in creativity.

"What brought you here besides your misdirection?..."

So this was a mortal then? Figured, most lions just liked to tease little cubs they knew were lost right before they ate them or some other jazz. Akiiki didn't care, though he certainly wasn't going to let himself be eaten anytime soon.

"Lost or found? Your choice really." He grumbled under his breath softly, "I just wandered here in the hopes of finding something for a song. That and I didn't really know where I was going, dad was asleep when I left."

The little white lion with his purple mane and markings sat down on a bone slowly and licked at his muddy feet. He wasn't irritated so much as irked that someone was trying to pass themselves off as a dead voice just to scare him. Seemed even more juvenile than half the things that he and Dumu had done together. Then again they were also cubs so it was slightly more understandable.

"Now are you gonna make me come and find you mister? Or are you gonna stop standing in the mist and show yourself to a little lost cub? It's not like I can do much of anything where I am now." One of these days... those sharp remarks that came from such an innocent mouth...

Duhushi grinned and stepped to the top of the flank bone, balancing perfectly even on the thin surface. His purple fur gleamed in the green light. White fangs shone brighter from the contrast. "Well, little cub, you have stumbled upon my realm." His tail lashed out behind him in a striped plume as claws gripped the bleached hite bone.

"So, you are found. Now what to do with a cub like you?" His mane fell gracefully over his shoulder as he carefully. but expertly, scaled down the impressive shell of the animal.

"You should watch your mouth especially in unfamiliar territory. Cubs get killed that way." It was well known that Duhu would never hurt a cub but this little boy got too close to the horns. "Your name, little boy?"

"Let the cub go would be a good start." Akiiki said stubbornly. So what if the other lion was purple, and so what if he was an adult? Aki didn't care, he knew that when it came down to it there were lots of tiny places for a cub to hide that an adult couldn't reach him at.

"Call me Akiiki.... at least that's what i was named, I don't know what else you'd call me." he was too nice usually... once again it showed.

Deep down inside of him something snapped awake, something ravled so deep down in the entwines of his skull and mind that Akiiki couldn't even feel it awaken. The ravled up thing let a smirk cross over it's black muzzle and it's rose eyes narrowed at the purple lion before the little white and violet cub. It would soon be time.

However... for now Akiiki stood on his four paws, barrel chest out as if he were watching the other... legs braced, body ready. He would haul tail as soon as it looked like he was in trouble.
