He huffed a bit as he bashed his horns against a tree; he needed a bit of venting after all the meetings with many random Soquili he had just met, with some of them driving him crazy and over the edge. Damn, he had screwed up again. With one, he'd shown emotions... and yet again with another, he'd shown emotions. He was supposed to be an emotionless being! Why did he allow his feelings to waver through his tight control!?
The tree trunk was nearly smashed right through, and with a final, panted, tackle, he grunted a bit as he knocked the tree over. Satisfied that he was now back under control, he stood a moment with his eyes shut, ears swerving furiously for any unsuspecting enemies as he regained his mighty strength and breath back. He was mentally torn apart at the moment, for he was irritated with himself for forgetting his purpose, his reason, for even being in this vile filth of a land... the filth being the two-legged creatures, of whom smelled horribly. Their stench was impossible to stand.
Finally, he was normal again, and opened his darkened red eyes to reveal that they'd returned to the bright red that they normally were under regular circumstances. He was still tense and on guard, however, for when he was alone, someone would always somehow sneak up on him, but that was why he practiced control... always, he needed to be in control.

Artemis Entreri a wirey muscled stallion but was strong from constant training and of seeking perfection in the art of fighting, so he trained daily. this day was no exception as he flew through the sky, training his wings though he couldn't fly as high as pure winds because of the fact he is a pure alicorn. his sharp hearing caught the noise of someone of something breakign a tree down and wasn't long before he caught sight of the kalona responcable for the noise. he himself was always in control of himself and whatever situation he put himself because he was always calculating his next move. diving down and landign gracefully on the ground a few feet away from the kalona stallion, as he walked towards the stallion ,he had light steps that would barely be heard to those alert, but silent to those unalert.

He tensed as barely heard hoofbeats made their way toward him, and he slowly turned around in time to meet eye to eye with one similar to him except that the wings were feathered, rather than being leathery. He narrowed his eyes, watching the other stallion warily. He somehow sensed that this one was very like him; similar in the fact that they both liked control...
The way he walked also spoke of how he trained night and day--just as he himself did--and was always ready for a fight. A trained warrior. He said nothing, silently calculating the way the alicorn in front of him moved, so much like his brother, and yet so unlike his brother his mind whirled with how there could be others who also believed in training the body for fighting, for martial arts.

Artemis Enterei stopped a good distance from the stallion, as he saw the other stallion noticed him finaly. he sized up the stallion as he stood there, watching and waiting for the other to make the first move. of course he noticed that the other was one that might be simular to himself but that was somethign of mild interest to himself. fighting wise Artemis had no equal except for Drizzt who he fought to prove himself the better. flicking his tail, he made no other movement and appeared relaxed, in control but if the other where to do somethign funny well they would get a nasty surprise.

His instinct was never wrong, but he had a bad feeling. He had the feeling that this stallion might get his blood to boil, causing him loss of control. The stallion's eyes were cold and calm, calculating, but with the look of a killer intent. What creature was this male in front of him that had such a look? He'd only known his own kind to have that look, but he knew it was possible that every breed had the possibility of an evil one, just as his kind had the possibility to have good. He watched this other one suspiciously, though he did relax slightly. Perhaps this one was kin to him in the warrior spirit.

Artemis Entreri still stood wher ehe was and waited for the othe to make a move but the other stallion didn't. no matter it seemed he would just have to be the first to make a move. fluttering his wings slightly, he still have the same calm, in control apperance. "since your not going to talk first, then i suppose i must? so whom might you be?" was all he spoke so he could size up the kalona stallion more than just by his appearance and movement.

Instantly a retort bubbled up through his throat, but he held it back as he carefully watched the alicorn, sizing the stallion up carefully. His new companion made the first movement, the first sound. "Thou must be the impatient sort, for thou to speak first and not wait for the other," he said carefully. Slight insults never hurt anyone... at least, not too badly. "But if thou wish, thou can callth this one Windflame Bloodrider, or Windflame, if thou preferst. And thou? Who art thou to ask this one who this one ist?" Perhaps this stallion wouldn't mock him about the way he spoke...

Artemis Entreri gave a slight bow with slightly spread wings that he sometimes did when sayign his own name. " i'am Artemis Entreri and i make it my buseness to know who i come across Windflame." the first thing he noticed when the other spoke was the way he spoke. very odd for a soquili to be speaking the way he did. " impatient not really at all." putign his wings back to his side after geting out of his bow, his eyes never left watching Windflame.

"Dost thou truly?" he replied in kind, somewhat dryly. "Truth, thou art not impatient, but thou didst decieve me." Which was true enough. Artemis Entreri had somewhat fooled him into thinking he was eager for things to be done, but as a warrior friend in spirit, he doubted Entreri was anything but. Shrugging a wing, he flicked his exceptionally long tail casually. "Thou feelth like thou art a warrior--thou must be kin to this one then, for this one feelth thee strongly in soul of the warrior." He wondered if he made any sense, or perhaps he was being too blunt. He decided he didn't care; he was in control, he was emotionless, and he was powerful. End of story.

Entreri found Windflame's responce back quite interesting as no one else would have responed that way. flickign his own tail, he didn't respond right away as he was going to carefuly make a responce. " you where only decieved for asumin things." flickings his wings a moment to work out the kinks, he contiuned to respond to the stallions blunt statment. " your quiet perceptive since you picked up on that fact Windflame." while he watched the stallion he coudl tell he was simular to himself but that didn't matter much to him.

Quite perceptive? He was merely being observant, and he couldn't help but feel the kindredness from Entreri because, as a Kalona, a demon horse who ate souls like nothing, he could just tell. The aura that Entreri had around him was dark, but what amazed him was that Entreri's aura was a gray color. The alicorn seemed only focued on one goal, but Windflame wouldn't say too much aloud. He knew the warrior code. "This one thankth thee," he said regally, shifting his own wings so that they closed on the sides of his body, making him appear larger. "This one supposeth that this one assumed, but be that as it may, this one findth thou amusing." Which was true enough.

Entreri raised a brow at being called amusing. no one ever called him amusing in the lest. " and why would you find someone such as myself amusing? i would think there was nothing of amusment at hand here." he still stayed where he was standing, making no move at all at moving any closer or backing away. in his case, he always had to make careful moves when he spoke or did anything. never much of a risk taker, he always was able to out think and out wit his opponites and in the case of windflame here he was being smart at being weary of him but then he was never afriad of any one but was never stupid to think that he shouldn't be weary though he was confidant in his ablities.

He twitched an ear, and fought to hide a smirk making its way up his muzzle. "How art thou amusing? This one merely findth it interesting that thou art... well, amusing." He couldn't very say why; but to see a fellow warrior so tensed and on guard, even when the alicorn knew very well that if they had sparred the fight would end in a tie, he figured this stallion was ready for anything. "Entreri, thou art eager yet," he commented offhandedly.
"Art thou searching for some purpose? Perhaps a rival?" he questioned. All warriors had a purpose, a goal, something in mind that they all pursued without questioning why they were doing so. Of course... he himself was probably the only who questioned his goal at all. "There is amusement aplenty, fellow warrior, if thou wouldst look to the light-hearted and clear thy head! If thou always lookth to the dark, thou wilt not find happiness, even in thy bearings whence thy findth what thou searchth for."

(( -_-;; sorry for taking so long to reply you had stumpped me for a long while ))
Artemis stayed quite for a long moment and kept his eye on Windflame. he was never one to have cared about happy, light-hearted side of thins, as he is a fighter through and through and what came with what he does, he always saw the dark. " happyness, and light-heartedness is only a weakness. and i will say again i find no amusment in whats going on right now." taking a step forward off to the side, he never let his cold, uncareing eyes off Windflame if he could help it as he held no trust in anyone. " happyness, and light-hearteness are for the weak and hold no place with a true fighter and you truely do ask too many questions of others." tossing his mane, he stopped after he took the bold step forward and stayed where he was.
