That was horrible. Everyone desirves respect no matter what color they are. I also watched him apologize on the David Letterman Show. It didn't seem like he was very sorry.

Really, everyone who lives in America knows about the N word, so he shouldn't have been surprised that it would offend people.
If a person has to use the N word to tell a joke, I don't think that person was funny to begin with.

I never really thought it was a big deal. Yea, what he said was stupid, but I never got bent out of shape about it. Hey, its his image hes ruining, not mine. mrgreen *did anybody realize that at first, the audience was laughing to what kramer was saying?*

after it happened, i was listening to a radio interview where the host said that the audience was listening to the rant of a crazy, homeless man. supposedly, kramer was homeless before he went on seinfeld and some entertainment people knew he was crazy. i didn't believe his apology, but i think seinfeld was nice for letting him try to apologize during his interview time. confused

I lost all respect for him as soon as the first n-bomb dropped. He could have gotten mad and said a crapload of other things sans the comments of what would have happened 50 years ago and this and that. He lost his cool and his true colors emerged. And to come back later and crap out such an obviously fake apology...please. "And I promise to work with the leaders of the Black community to make things right again..." Puh-lease. rolleyes

Wow.. I just watched both his "comedy" and is "apology". Wow..
I love how you can still hear people giggling, like the s**t is funny. He just blew up for NO apparent reason. And that comment about 'that's what happens when you interupt a wait man.' Wait. WHAT?! I have WAY too much of a temper. I would be up on that freakin stage SO quick. You don't even know! They'd have to take me to jail that night. I commend everyone who got up and left. And am disgusted at the people who continued laughing for like a minute and a half. That s**t IS NOT funny.
And in his apology.. "I got heckled." Wow.. People get heckeled everday! If you can't take someone harming your ego. Wow. I don't know how you got this far in life. I'd hate to see if someone did more to them. Would it turn into something physical. Wow.. and people see there aren't racists anymore

I swear he exploded because a group of black people were being rude and yelling and talking really loud while he was doing and then he got annoyed with them. I dont know...I actually laughed because it was kinda unexpected I guess. Either way I dont care because its just a word and someone else's thoughts about people and not everyone is going to like everyone so psh.

He's racist, not because cause of what he called them.
but the fact that, that was the very first thing he attacked them about was their race. there was a probably a ton of other things that could have been said; but he made a B line for their race.
