Well from what ive seen it looks like Tri edge is a corrupted data fragment of Kite im sure it happenend when Kite broke the bracelet he is kite but only as a false npc form of him and yet he has DD

Tri-Edge is an AIDA. Or, to make things simpler, he's an AI infected remnant of the old version of The World, put back together after the fire at CC Corp. So it's not Kite, it's more like... something stole his avatar. sweatdrop Personally, Tri-Edge is my favorite character. 3nodding

Actually Tri Edge IS Kite CC corp made him a protection AI So he gets rid of errors in the game ((Balming and Orca Appear in Vol.2 of G.U.))

I've seen Balmung and Orca the same way, and I think it's cool, same with Tri Edge. Wonder what their names are now.
I've watched some of the episodes in english and I'm telling you that was not something good to hear, espesially when you've watched it in japanese already. It just makes things odd when you watch it english.
