My boyfriend has a kid with his exgirlfriend and that's never bothered me. I think it's cute cause he's so proud of his son and tells everyone about him. He always complains about his ex, though. How much drama she causes, how annoying she is, whatever. She had been pregnant with his kid before, but miscarried around the time he broke up with her. I told him about when I miscarried in February a week ago and he hasn't spoken to me since. I keep hearing that he's been talking to his ex a lot and I'm pretty sure he's going to break up with me and go back to her. He hasn't treated me very well and I'm through with him now, but I tried calling him to tell him I don't wanna be with him anymore and he won't answer. He won't respond to me when I text him or IM him. I can't see him cause he's in training in the Army. I really don't want to break up with him in a message cause I think of that as really low. {No offense to anyone who's done it. It's just been done to me a lot and I hate it so I won't put anyone in that situation.} I have no idea if I'll even hear from him again. Should I just get over it and send him a message telling him we're through? Or should I wait around for him to call me and break up?
It may sound like a stupid question, but I've been struggling with it.

If you've made every effort to get a hold of him, repeatedly (and it sounds like you has), I would leave him a message and be done with him. If he decides to be mature about it and contact you, then you could tell him then, but yeah I don't see anything wrong with leaving a message if you can't get a hold of him to tell him.
I was asked out and dumped over MSN by my first ex, so no worries. wink Been there, done that, know how much it sucks.

if you can't reach him and he won't respond, just leave a message. sometimes it's the only way that you can tell people things because they won't talk. if he won't contact you back, then let it be the one way thing he wants and just tell him that you want out and that you're over with him. i know that it's probably not as easy as i'm making it sound, but it might be the only way you can do what you need to right now.

Thanks guys smile Turned out that right as I was going to send him a message breaking it off, he called me and accused me of hitting on his best friend. I don't know where he got that idea from, but I just told him I was sick of being accused of things I'd never do and it was over.

[ Twilight Angel ] Thanks guys smile Turned out that right as I was going to send him a message breaking it off, he called me and accused me of hitting on his best friend. I don't know where he got that idea from, but I just told him I was sick of being accused of things I'd never do and it was over. Sorry it worked out that way, but it's good that it's over, eh? No more being accused of things you didn't do.
