Even though Gaia has a bit of a "reputation" for being a kid's/young teens website, there are really people of all ages all over Gaia. You can know someone on Gaia for months & have no clue how old the person is, just because the subject never comes up. I mean, I don't even know how old my fellow crew members are. I think Rio is 20-something, & I have no freakin' clue as to the age of Shad0w.

How old are you? When's your birthday?
Me: I'm 17. Birthday = July 26, 1989.

Im 21. Birthday is February 18th, 1985.
I think Gaia is for all ages. I don't think it has an age group is directed specifically towards.

I agree. I don't think the site targets itself towards any particular group(s) of people. It's people who know hardly anything about Gaia, & some young Gaians, that give it that reputation.
Lots of Gaians in their 20s, 30s, & above seem to be prone to harrasment of sorts when they state their ages. Lots of 13 & 14 year olds & such will totally spazz out when somebody says they're, say, 31.
Ugh rolleyes It's the freakin' internet, what do they expect? & what the hell's wrong with people in their 20s, 30s, or 40s? I don't get it! One of my best friends is 29. Another close friend of mine is in her 50s. Is there, like, something "wrong" with that? rolleyes

My ex-fiancee was 10 years older then me (31). We got so much crap from her friends and my family because of the age difference but it didn't matter to us. There is nothing wrong with having friends much older then yourself or much younger. It only becomes wrong when something "happens" and one or the other is under age. That is when it is wrong. Oh, and happy early birthday Shad0w_Frost!! Happy belated birthday iFred!!

Well, i'm 16. But I have a little sister who loves gaia just simply because she sees me on it so I let her use this account when she wants, she likes playing the games and walking around in towns *shrugs*, she's 7 and a surprisingly good typer.
