Well, I'd say it's the guitar. When I turn the volume on, on my guitar, I can hear this crackling comething from the amp. Well... it's sorta like a steady click. "Click... click... click... click..." I can even hear it when I'm playing clean. I don't think it's the amp.. I've tried it on different amps. And it's not a pedal, either; I get the sound when my guitar's hooked straight up to the amp. It's not the cables, because I've switched cables out. And it's not hum from electronics, either..
So... tell me what it is? surprised By the way, my guitar's a Jay Turser Strat. sweatdrop

It's steady? If it was intermitten, I would say it was a dirty volume knob or switch or a loose output jack. Steady makes me think its a defective capacitor discharging. Check the one on your tone knob.

My amp clicks and stuff if it's near my computer. But I'm not overly sure why, I think it would be just dirt.

Yeah, it hums when I get it near the computer, too. My input jack is kinda loose. Ima fix that, thanks. surprised
My dad offered an interesting theory. See, I live on a farm... and we have electric fences around our fields. I keep my guitars in a separate building from the house--a metal one. He said the noise could be from the fences. He said he hears clicking when he's working in the field listening to an AM radio, and it's from the electric fences.
.-.
Well... Tomorrow, I'm gonna experiment! I'm gonna turn the fences off for a bit and see if that stops the clicking. I'll letcha know the results. domokun

If you can get rid of the noise by turning the volume on your guitar off, that should eliminate both the electrical interference (unless your pickups are very unshielded) and the output jack.

HUZZAH! It's the electric fences! surprised But.. is this discovery good or bad? =/
I mean.. On one hand, it's not my guitar. On the other, I'll never be able to play guitar here without getting incessant clicking. confused

Wll theres really not much you can do about it. Your amp is picking up the signal from the electric fences, and you can't prevent it. Same thing happens when amps pick up radio stations xD

How long is the patch cord you're using? Try using a shorter one to avoid it becoming one giant antenna.

You could get a Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor
I'm thinking about getting it too, b/c of the hum coming from my Peavey ><
((Btw, you have a Jay Turser guitar too? Wow, so I'm not the only one in the world who owns one =D ))
