Again the green and black maned wolf ran in circles around her young daughter still in disbelief that she had a child. This was while the two had stopped for a brief rest in the borders of the pridelands. Finally she stopped when she collapsed on the floor exhausted from the lack of sleep and constant running.
Many sleepless nights had followed the birthing of Shaira'Lejali. Many memories of the time she had with her mother, the short short time with her mother before she left her came flooding back to her every time she tried to sleep. It caused her to have fits in the night only to wake up in a down pour of sweat.
Picking herself up she moved through the trees, Lejali following silently doing her best not to bother her mother.

-Hadaya wandered aimlessly, chocolate paws drawing her slowly across the familar grasslands as the day wasted away, mind drifting in soft boredom. She didn't really have anything to do. The days were good, and lazy. But she just couldn't stand just lying about today.
So she'd taken off to wander. And now that she was reaching the far edges of the lands, she began to debate whether to keep going for awhile, or turn and follow the edges back to that familar landmark.
Hmmmmmm... which way... Her thoughts were cut short however, as a foreign and yet familar scent touched her. Wolves? Around here? Excitement bubblin through the wolf, she glanced around softly for the creators of the scent, before simply obliging herself to slowly follow it instead, nose held high.-

Siria'Chunuka had been under a lot of stress since she gave birth, living her nightmare and had no problem showing it. The black and green maned personality had taken a free fall so to speak. She no longer acted as she once did, cryptic and unclear, not she tended to be more blunt and brutal not caring if the other was offended or not.
The black-footed-ferret colored maned wolf's ears flicked at every single sound. Since that night she had been overly parnoid and skittish.
The younger and by far smaller maned wolf wasn't as skittish as her mother, she was calm and seemingly collected for the most part. Shaira'lejali's attention was mainly focused on her mentally unstable mother but turn her head when she breathed in the scent of another. Stopping for a minute her yellow eyes looked at her surrounds but found nothing and continued to move foward.

-Had the little one's green been a bit more subdued, Hadaya might have skipped over her in the grasses. But alas, with the golden and paler green of the grasses, the little one stood out, and Hadaya paused in awe.
Seeing a wolf in the pridelands was a rarity. But a baby? She hadn't seen a baby since she was one herself. And she drew forward curiously, seeming to forget the fact that a baby probably meant a protective family was lying in wait.- "Hello there little one."

Blinking when she was spoke to, young Lejali spun around facing the other. Her mind was blank as words attempted to form on her tounge.
Speak you idiot!
That was what her mind was telling her, yet she was still drawing a blank on what to say. "Hi?" Was all she could manage at that point before glancing at her mother who at this point seemed oblivious to the rest of the world. "Who are you?" [Gah small post! Sorry!]

((No worries XD Small isn't bad))
-Though usually turned off by the rambunctiousness of the lion cubs that wandered her home, Hadaya was seemingly drawn to the little pup. Both curiousity, and the so far calm demeanor of the little one egging her on.
And she drew a few more steps forward, offering a mild smile, tail swaying gently, still oblivious to the mother that lay not far away.- "My name is Hadaya. What are you doing out here?"

A bit more relaxed now Lejali was able to speak without having any problems. "My name is Shaira'Lejali." Then the pup paused before answering the proposed question. "I've been traveling with my mother." Another pause as she figured out the right words to say. "Our travels take us all over the place...She always seems to be looking for something, or someone, but.....she never finds what she is looking for."
A slight shrug there, Lejali wasn't sure what it was that her mother was searching for but she was by the side of the other regardless.

"Oh?" -That'd certainly been more then she expected to hear. Far different then 'playing' or 'we live here'. Eyes lifting to try and pick the mother out of the grasses, she pondered softly, before offering.-
"I see.. you do not know what she's looking for? Maybe I could be of some help." -She was pretty good with the area.. and it wouldn't be the first time she'd helped someone find a home. But who knew if that's what the wolf was even looking for?-

"I thank you for your offer, sadly I fear that not even she knows what she is looking for herself." The smaller maned wolf lowered her gaze to the ground closing her eyes for a minute to think about a few things. "It might be that whatever she is searching for cannot be found by anyone but herself."
It was odd, but it had a point perhaps what the green and black maned wolf was looking for was something that she could only find within herself, her sanity. Then again it could always be something else. "I fear this is all my fault."

"Your fault? I somehow doubt that." -Despite the lack of experience in children, Hadaya knew a thing or two about comfort. Her own guilt ridden charge in need of it quite often, and she was always happy to oblige. So it seemed almost natural, that she scouted a little closer to the cub, soft smile widening her muzzle.-
"And even if it were you're just a child. Noone, ecspecially a parent would put such a heavy thought on a little one. Fault is for elder creatures."
-Glancing for the figure of the child's mother she debated softly. It would be rude to force her help on those who didn't want it. But at the same time, it felt akward to leave the little one so soon. What to do?-

"Ah but it is my fault....and her fears as well..." Lejali replied her voice sad and slightly distant. She knew truth and nothing would change that. "Mother fears becoming her own mother, one that abandoned her when she was but a pup, defenseless and vulnerable. Prey to the surrounding wild." She paused inhaling as she struggled to keep her voice straight. "Her fears forced her to run from the one chance of happiness that she had had in a long time." Her voice broke and she could not continue with the story.
It wasn't her story to really tell but her own mother was incapable of it and the young pup took all responsiblilty of helping the older wolf on herself. She was the last thing that Siria'Chunuka had in her life and she would not let her spiral into an even deeper pit of sorrow.

-Before she could stop it a whimper touched the wolf, her ears falling softly as the pup's words sounded. How a pup could know or understand that much so young was unknown to her, but it was painful nonetheless.
She felt the urge to snap the pup away, take it to a place where it could simply be a child. But her logic thankfully kept her from it.
Instead, she frowned a little thoughtfully, before offering lightly.- "Perhaps if you two were to stay someplace safe.. then she would not worry so. When there are others around to help feed your family.. and protect from threats families aren't thrust into having to give up their children.."
"I know someplace safe..."

Lejali smiled at the other wolf, her expression full of thankfulness. It touched her rather deeply to see that the other cared. "It is a very kind offer but, it..." Her voice trailed and her expression looked slightly puzzled as she tried to find the right words to use to explain. "We are wanderers, we always have been and we always will be." She spoke finally able to find the right words. "It will be impossible to try and get her to stay in one place. It isn't her way of living, she likes to be on the move."
It was rather odd that she knew so much when it appeared that her mother would say very little but she did. Lejali knew everything she possibly could, it was important that she knew, even if she only learned of things through her mother's sleep talking. "She needs me to stand by her, at least for now. I thank you once more for the offer but I'm sorry, I have to refuse." Her dark yellow eyes looking up at Hadaya trying to meet the other's eyes.

-There wasn't swaying the child who spoke like an adult, so Hidaya simply nodded. She was hesitant to leave, but when one could do nothing.. what point was there to staying? She had failed, and it was obvious that she would continue to fail.
Eyes turning back in direction to the waterhole that had been her first destination, she lingered still for a moment, before offering mildly as she turned.- "There is a wateringhole nearby when your mother awakens. And you can occassionally find scraps from the lion hunters. They won't harm you while you're here. Good luck with whichever way you are headed."

Lejali smiled politely at the older maned wolf who had tried so hard to help. "I thank you for the help." She then glanced back at her mother who was starting to have a conversation with one of the trees. "I'm sure that if she were her right self she would thank you as well." Having that said she turned and trotted towards her mother glancing back at Hidaya. "I do hope we can meet again, and that next time the meeting will be much more pleasant."
Lejali nodded and smiled once more before nudging her mother lightly.
"Come on mother, it's time to move along." She then nodded her head toward the direction of the watering hole that the other pointed out.
Siria blinked looking from the small pup that had nudged her to the tree she had been talking to. "Shaira'Lejali?" She murmured the name confusedly before turning in the direction she was being pointed towards. She started to walk forward an to pass Hidaya.
Her head turned toward the other female, studying her mentally before turning away and continuing muttering something inaudible to the other.
It was probably her way of saying thanks.
The small green and black ran quickly after the larger more green adult to catch up. When she passed by the natural colored wolf she bowed her head politely before hurrying on.
