I used to belive that this was real when I was in about 5th grade... What it is, is that if you go inot a bathroom, turn off all the lights, stare into the mirror, and say Bloody Mary three times, and then flush the toilet three times, Blody mary would come and that she would kill you...
Either that, or, haunt you for the rest of your life... Either or. *shrugs*
Has anyone ever heard of this?

anyone heard the story of Candyman?
it's a movie..
pretty much freaked me out, and it's a bit similar to Bloody Mary with the mirror part..
i'm a lottle rusty on the story, but anywho..
Candyman was a slave, and i think he killed his master, so the townspeople went after him and chopped off his hand, and nailed a hook to his stump.
of course, he died and his corpse was slathered in honey [?] so these bees came and filled his corpse.
he comes out when people say 'Candyman' four times in front of a lit mirror, turn off the light and say 'Candyman' again. he shows up behind you and stabs you with his hook. LAWL. PWNage.
i couldn't look in a mirror for a while... sweatdrop
pretty freaky to me, anyways..
[it's an old movie.. pretty crazy one at that..]
about Bloody Mary... LAWL. waste water and someone comes out to kill you! that's what you get for endangering our water supply!
how efficient.

How about that urbam legend of the cooie (Koo-e). Its an old spanish legend that my grandma used to tell me. if a young child went out at night alone and in a corner or a shadow. Then this large sulking figure would come up from behind and snatch them and take them away.

i think bloody mary counts as an oogie boogie myth.
