I'm all for Drow, I'm against all other types of Elves... except perhaps the Fey' ri.
Well, Drow are hated because of their allegiance to Lolth, which caused such changes to their appearance, their extensive practice in slavery, torture, their society and perhaps the cruel tests that they have in order to actually become drow.
Once again, the Drow are one of my two favorite elven subraces.

They're a cruel race, but I have to say I don't hate them. ^^ I'm intrigued by them actually.

The Drow city in the Underdark from the game Baldur's Gate II was by far my favorite part of the game. The Drow culture is so unique and twisted pirate

It's not the Drow that are hated, it's their culture that is hated. I'm not even sure that the Drow like their culture.

Oh, might I draw attention to my user name?
Yeah, that's right.
Best damn drow mercenary that ever lived... leader of the Bregan D'Aerthe.
I hear there's a new book coming out that tells of his travels with Artemis Entreri, on the surface.
P.S. The Baldur's Gate Saga is THE BEST ROLEPLAYING GAME SERIES.
P.P.S. If you enjoyed Baldur's Gate, I recommend that you try Planescape Torment.
