Chewing on her right leg to rid it of the bug that she thought she'd seen, Temari felt blood ooze down over her muzzle but the blurry eyed female didn't care anymore. Her own blood tasted of far too much iron and was thick rather than smooth like it should have been, pooling on the dusty ground in a large puddle that barely reflected.
Snarling as she pulled her head back up, Temari's lucid looking eyes still saw the bug on her right leg and she snapped her jaws shut on it once more, chipping part of her bone as she did so but barely feeling it at all. Finally pulling back once more a smug look passed over the dusty golden female's muzzle. The bug had finally been killed, the blood had probably smothered it and that in itself made her push a hyena-esque laugh from her blood soaked muzzle.
"That'll serve ya right ya wing zingger." Temari said in her slurred voice as she stood and collapsed back on her side heavily as her right leg gave out on her from the immense pain. "Well that ain't very good."
Peering down at her leg as if it had bared the bone itself and torn her skin to shreds all on its own, Temari huffed angrily and stood up on three shaky legs, slowly wobbling over in the direction of a watering hole that wasn't actually there. ninja

Jamaa was panicking. The oldest of this sons was ill, has been for a while. But now, this very morning it turned for the worse. When he awoke beside the little red canine, a spurt of blood laid before the pup's maw and a red dribble came from his maw. Quickly, he picked him up and instantly followed the first plan of action that came to his mind. Find Temari. What did he think he was doing? He knew that the pup was ill, but he showed no sign, maybe a cough or a slow in reaction, but he was a strong pup. He was his son. But he was wrong, he was only a pup, not every pup was like he was. He had to find Temari. If this was his last moments, then it would be with her and him. Where was she?
Ryega whined as he curled up in his father's maw. His head was hurting, the motions that his father was making with this sprint was not helping. He wanted to cough, but something was stopping him. He wanted to sleep, but something was stopping him. He felt so hot, it was irritating.
"Giz.."
He moaned. He wanted his brother, he wanted to be with his brother, asleep under his watch. He could not take this anymore. He was so tired, his eyes were already closed shut, not like it mattered. The Blind pup whined and whimpered. He was scared, what was happening to him?
"Mom...Tahu....Dem....Gaz..Ja....Iz."
He slurred the names of his family as he shivered violent in his father's fangs.
Jamaa put the pup down, his chest pounding, his heart racing. Where was she!?
"TEMARI!!!"
A loud, scared howl split the air, shaking the leaves around him.

Squinting as the golden lucid female heard her name screamed, Temari wobbled over towards the sound of it. Her glazed over eyes caught sight of a rather large brown blob that was actually her mate, though Temari didn't actually recognize him thanks to all her issues.
"Well helloooooooo." Temari said as she toppled to her side and looked up at the swirling brown blob before her in an owl-ish voice. "Wha's a blooooooobbbb talkin' ta me fer?"
Reaching out and poking it with the paw on the leg that was currently gushing blood at a rather alarming rate, though it was all thick so there was doubtless more than normal within her. Her paw hit fur and she giggled about how she never thought a blob could possibly be so fuzzy as this one was. Grinning up at said blob, Temari flashed her teeth and blood seeped from between her teeth, the origin unknown but it was fairly obvious it was from her innards.
"Now..." A hiccup worked from her like a drunk, "Wha's ya need meh fo'?" ninja

Jamaa's golden eyes grew wide with the sight of Temari. What was going on!? Her paw were soaked in crimson blood, her maw was dribbling of it. Was she dying? Why was she talking like that? Jamaa's heart seemed to race as it sank deep down, deep deep down inside of him. He was losing everything! Ryega was ill, he had no idea what to do, he never seen anything like this before. Temari is in the condition she was in, how did she get like this?
"Temari!?"
He called out, rushing over to her. He leaned in close, weary of her condition, looking her over. What had happened!? Jamaa was losing it all, if Temari died, he would be left with the boys. He had no idea how to care for Ryega, he too will be gone and there will be a chain and everything will disappear. 'If the father died, the family would suffer. If the mother died, the family does not exist'
"Temari, Temari, what is going on!? You are scaring me, what has happened to you!? What did this to you, who? Tell me!"
He was yelling, he was crying, he was frightened, he was scared. He was too worried and scared that Jamaa did not even notice that he was yelling at her just like before when Kizaki disappeared.
A cough from Ryega made his head jerk back, immediately coming to him. What was he to do....

A goofy grin crossed Temari's muzzle as she felt the blob start yelling at her, asking her what was wrong, begging for an answer that in her insane mind she didn't have. To her it might as well have been greek that was being spoken.
"Weellll... theeerreee... Wai'... was i' one 'er.... There been TWO 'bbits that been chewin at meh ears and... then t'is bug started bitin meh an.... Iiiiiii dunnnnnnooooo." Temari babbled like a stellar retard.
A small cough suddenly snapped her from it and her eyes cleared for a moment, her normal self returning as she realized that one of her babies was in trouble. Standing she took two steps over and fell beside him, with a high pitched yelp, blood pooling around her leg as she stared at it once more as if it had done it and not her. She couldn't remember it at least.
"Ryega." She whispered as she licked his sweaty red fur and felt herself start to drown once more in her own insanity. Turning to her mate and using the last of her sanity that she had she opened her muzzle, "There are weeds... down near the river... go get them and feed them to... him."
And then she was completely gone, her gem green eyes closing and opening a moment later to creamy pale eyes that could have told anyone that there was no consciousness behind them. The golden dog was completely lost within herself, lost to her mate and her pups, lost to herself.
"Wha's t'is littlun? 'E yers mistah bloooooobbbeh?" A spastic giggle ripped from her muzzle and she rolled on her back from her own laughter. ninja

Jamaa's fur bristled. He could not leave these two like this. Temari has completely lost it, it was beyond his reach now. He could not help her as much as the next. Ryega was too ill to leave alone with the mate he knew. What was going on!? Was he going insane as well? His mate was gone, Ryega was losing it as well. Where was his family when he needed them!? He needed help!
His golden eyes darted side to side, looking for anything to help. Temari was losing blood and Ryega was coughing like there was no tomorrow. What was a male to do? All he knew was how to fight and protect, he knew not much else besides.
"Temari, please, I need your help. Stop talking like that. Jamaa needs you, Ryega needs you. Please, stop this!"
Jamaa pleaded. His old tongue had returned...and it might be permanent. He was scared, he had no clue what to do. Then it hit him, there was his family den. The reason why a lot of animals had lived there was because of that strange old folk lore of it having healing properties if slept in long enough. Maybe if he took them there, they would get better.
"T-Temari, Jamaa needs you to come with Jamaa to Jamaa's den. You and Ryega will get better. Please, Jamaa is begging you!"

A little confused by what the large brown blob before her was saying, but nothing made it through. Nothing made it past the lucidity that had fallen down upon her.
"Where we be goin'?" She asked at last as the gears in her wasted mind tried to turn. The world around her started to change colors, the sky turning red, the grass turning blue, the world was as if it were on crack but Temari didn't mind. Little puffs of air passed by her nose and she tried to catch them with bloody paws but they were just out of her reach.
Turning her creamy eyes on the blob she leaned an ear forward and let her tongue loll from one side of her smooth muzzle without much thought. "Stop wha' blooooobbeeh?"
The world was incredibly amuzing to her at this moment, everything seeming as if it were fuzzy and fun, everything soft and gentle. For once in the females insanity the world was how it was meant to be and how she'd always wanted it. Granted for the longest time she'd wanted it to be and to not have herself in it at the same time, but in her insanity she didn't remember that at all. ninja

Tears streamed down his face as he watched on the two. His son, his oldest and fist son, shivering violent, coughing, the red dibble on his maw. His small body curled up in on itself as it tried to escape from itself and at the same time feeding it. His fur was matted in places where the sweat clung to his fur. Jamaa could do nothing for his son, the weed Temari had spoke of...he had no clue what it was, what it looked like. If he did, he could not leave her and his son alone like this. Temari was worse, her blood was everywhere, it soaked down to the dry earth, her maw was just like her paws, bloody.
"Jamaa wants to take you both to Jamaa's den...you two will be better if Jamaa take you there. Jamaa want you happy, better."
His tongue was defiantly coming back as if he was reverting from the teachings he had learned of the proper tongue. He was losing himself. He was lost. He was losing everything. He needed help.
"...Dad..."
Ryega moaned, uncurling himself. He carefully got to his feet, tipsy a bit but managed. His eyes opened half way, it was enough for him to get a feel for things. His pale eyes were just as hazy as his mother's, not like he would know. Slowly he stumbled towards his father before falling down again, another coughing fit.
"Dad...."
He called again. Jamaa knew how much Ryega disliked him, he knew it very well. Jamaa had been the same with his own father but it was only when he was gone did he really appreciate the things he done for him. Ryega coughed again, a splatter of red caught the ground. His body shivered again before falling over. He could not move much more. He was too tired, exhausted.

Temari's green eyes blinked lucidly and she sniffed at the larger brown dog, not quite sure of what he wanted. The sun smiled at her brightly and nodded as she stood up to follow after him, wherever he wanted her to go. But something caught the attention of the tiny gold female, the cough of the red pup.
Blinking once more she reached down and grabbed him, giggling like a hyena, not sure whether or not to eat him or to hand him to the other.
"Fwhres thees dan?" She gummed around the midsection of the tiny pup within her jaws. It was hard to carry him, being that she was smaller than a normal wild dog and such, but that didn't matter in her scrambled mind.
Slowly she started trotting off but ended up going in one huge circle and bumping into the shoulder of the larger male and falling down to the ground, lifting her head in a motherly manner at the last second so Ryega didn't get squished.
Where was that name from? Who was Ryega?
That was washed away instantly. ninja

Jamaa looked down at his paws, to Temari, to Ryega, and back to his paws. Has he failed as a father...? Here his mate was ill, not in the right state of mind. His oldest son was ill to the point of blood coming from inside. What was he to do? Temari was the smart one in the relationship and now she cannot help him. Bringing them back to the den was the best idea he could do, but that will worry the rest of the pack and put major stress onto the family and then that would may end up worse. What was he gonna do?
"Den not far....back that way, come, we must take Ryega home."
He nuzzled his mate with all of his heart and inside of it, a bit of grief. He picked up his son the best he could and carried him back to the den. What was he going to do now....Dhati was having problems choosing and heir to the pack and the rest of teh family were too busy and the pack too. He was alone in this matter as far as he can think.
"Temari, come, go home now."
