Ugh, I'm not buying the PS3 until it drops a couple hundred in price. And it won't do that for like, two years. They won't even start earning profit for the PS3 until next year.
Besides, the WII seems way more new-generation-like than the PS3. ^w^ I can't wait to get one.

Why is the Playstation 3 at #1? Because so many people are buying them... to sell on eBay for a profit. Not to play.
xD

... I think it's funny... everyone seems so much into being a nintendo or sony fanboy/girl that they refuse to see anything good about the other system.

Hey, I'll give Sony some credit here. They have good hardware. The thing that is the most important, the software, they are lacking.
They're also drastically losing money on every console they make. >_>

Though I could point out that all the software in the world wouldn't do Nintendo any good if they didn't have the tech Sony developed that they take and use in their console.

Personally, I think the PS3 is good, except it has nothing to offer at the moment that I want or, more importantly, that I can afford. >>; A few years down the road, though, when MGS4 and other neat-o titles are out and the system is cheaper and used ones are on sale, then I'll get it.
Wii just seems to offer more things that I can have fun with at the moment and is more in my price range. But the fact the Twilight Princess is out for the Wii only at the moment is getting to me. gonk

Lemme put it this way: If the games suck a**, it doesn't matter if you can run up to 53497278 ultrahypermegapneumonotera textures or whatever at a time. Games make the system, not the hardware.
And Nintendo doesn't steal from Sony. rofl

And last I checked Nintendo has yet to make a completely backwards compatible system. So their game library per system starts out smaller than Sony's from the start. Now then, if you mean the games released with the system, then yeah, Sony is a bit behind, but you're going to choose the system as being better based solely upon the first few games?

Jeff Jarrett Who's idea was it to have the motion sensor controller? Nintendo. Who stole thie idea? Sony. So STFU. talk2hand ... Wrong.
Whose idea was it too have the motion sensor controller? Atari Arcade Systems. Who stole the idea? Both Nintendo and Sony. You can point out that Nintendo was the first to have it on a console all you want, but fact is they stole the idea. I could also point out all of the technologies Sony developed that BOTH companies used for that controller, but you wouldn't like that.
