It was a rainy day in Pizzaville.. or at least, it seems the second day of vacation turns out to be a rainy, stay-indoors day. Lucky for us, there are plenty of activities inside the luxury hotel to keep amused! This will take place in the game room/lounge area. There is a TV with one basic gaming system, a pinball machine, a pingpong table, beanbag chairs, two comfy couches, and even an enclosed corner area with plastic balls for smaller kids to play in.

The roleplay should include one electrical failure due to the storm outside.

Involved in this roleplay: Inle-roo, rosemilk, Tweek, DivineSaturn
Duration: 2 hours IC-ly, 6 10 days max OOC-ly.

It was in the corner with the ball pit that one might find one distractedly amused grombie, one confusedly disgruntled Forgotten, and one overly-eager daemon. Inle had been rather pleased to find that it was raining, because it was much easier to keep track of the kids within the confines of a hotel room, large as it might be, than it was outside.

Or so she had thought. She hadn't counted on the cabin fever that had settled in among the boys and the otter. Her plan to keep them distracted all day with room service and pay-per-view movies failed almost immediately when Ethan, displeased with whatever animated crap was on the screen, had taken to throwing things in the general direction of the screen. After Ethan had tried throwing his otter at the screen--much to the animal's dismay, as she was quite enjoying the singing, dancing, badly-drawn characters--Inle decided that she should probably distract her brood some other way.

And so there they were. Inle had dragged a beanbag chair over to the ball pit, where she dropped Ethan and the otter. Ethan had seemed confused for a moment, unfamiliar with the purpose of plastic balls but already not liking them, before wiggling atop them in an effort to get out. The otter was swimming happily, if not awkwardly, amongst them. Inle was reading a book, looking up every now and then to see if the terrible twosome was alright, the bells and whistles of the pinball machine Deuce had taken over little more than a distant irritant.

He'd come all the way out to the beach, and it was raining. Figured. Still, the hotel was pretty swanky, and Eriol would be damned if he wasn't going to take advantage of it. After watching some television and having large quantities of room service ordered up, he finally inquired about activities and found out they had a game room. So that was the destination, with Viviana and Outcry in their bassinet in one arm, Ren's frothy cup in the other, and Linnea following behind somewhat reluctantly into the game mecca.

"Sweet!" Eriol shouted, taking it all in. Moments later he had dumped the bassinet on one of the couches, the glass on a table, and had honed in on the video games. He never got to play those things at home!

With a bit more worry for her companions, Linnea took Ren's glass, sat on the couch, and made sure that the little ones were okay. They were, but she stayed put anyway, not willing to interact just yet.

The problem with Anemone and rain had, in fact, been keeping her out of it. She bitched and gretzed and snuffled wetly into Leon's shoulder, complaining in a high burble about not being allowed outside; having one whining baby in one arm and a red-eyed lizard-monster sticking its tongue in your ear was fairly enough for him. Eventually, Leontas roamed around the hotel room like a wraith, not quite unmanly enough to find Cressida and foist the little girl on her in order to make her shut up: salvation came to him in the form of the Games Room.

There was a ball pit.

Why didn't he have a ball pit at home?

Leon put Anemone in the ball pit, where she was too surprised and outraged by this new development to let out a scream; she did, however, ball up her chubby little fists and bang them over the balls. Excellent.
